Introduction Thread vs Individual Threads - Rape Board

If a newbie posts an introduction outside of the mass one, let's try to be nice. I notice that sometimes, we lose posting members when they are told to go to that mass thread.

Personally, I like the idea of newbies having their own thread. I don't really check the mass one.

Yes i think you are right...we must take it easy...or they will going to think that we are extremely heavy! Am i???!!!

I don't think there is anything wrong with giving them a link to where they not only should be posting but to where more people might see it.

It's never to early to learn the ways of the board.

We don't need a ton of threads just for introductions.That's why the sticky thread is there.

True dark one, but just posting a link with a terse message might not be the best way to do it.

To be honest, I'm not particularly bothered either way.

Like we don't need a ton of threads for reputation threads, but we've still gotthem. Yet nobody complains even though they bury everything else in idle talk. And we did have a sticky for it butit got wiped because it's creator threw a hissy fit.

Im not sure why you quoted me but just so you know i did complain about all the rep threads once.I think one sticky thread for rep celebrations would be great.

People could check in one place for who's hitting what rep mark and the regular threads in Idle could stay near the top.

Maybe it would be better to have a section created under Miscellaneous entitled something like "New Members Intro Section." Then people can post individual posts but it still isn't cluttering up the General Rape Forum. Just my thoughts...

That section needs to be above Genaral Rape. Newbies just post in the first thing they can mostly.
