We celebrate Saint Davids day quite well. The Irish really celebrate St. Patricks day. But St. Georges day and Saint Andrews day, I've really never heard or seen being celebrated.

I don't even know anything about Saint George actually o_O but i hope people have a good day

A few years ago The Society of St George, of which Her Majesty The Queen is a patron, applied to hold a St Georges Day parade in London. Ken the Red refused permission on the grounds that it would incite racial hatred.

Arch Bishop John Sentamu today called for St Georges Day to be made a public holiday in England.

St Georges Day is a public holiday elsewhere, no reason why it shouldn't be here. I saw plenty of people flying the cross of St George today, a large group of people all dressed up outside a pub, a schoolgirl walking home with her mum, waving the flag she must have made in class today.

When I'm Fuh, erm I mean Priminister of the Kingdom of England, I'll make St Georges Day a feast day, to be held on 23rd of April, not just the nearest Monday. That way it would be a day to celebrate rather than just another excuse to nag the husband to go to B&Q and buy those bathroom tiles, or sit in a traffic jam on the A303 all weekend.

Free beer for over 65s all day, entertainment in every town and village, political correctness will be banned for the day, and any killjoys, Nazis, Communists etc etc etc, will be made an example of at the stocks that will appear in every community when I am Fuh, erm I mean Priminister of The Kingdom of England.
