I agree that men are not lemmings that bow down to women. If that is her stance, then maybe I dont have that much in common with her regarding her thoughts. If anything men are less interested in women than women are interested in men. I think the only men who are women-crazy are the ones who arent getting laid. Most women's sole purpose in life is to snag a man and have a family....for men, its to achieve much more than that...to self-actualize and live up to your full potential.

Thats also what I love about them...they have better things to worry about then to follow women around or think about them. If you ask me....women dont distract men at all unless they are nagging.

Well, I think she was suggesting that working class men and women are usually more down to earth than college educated people. I mean, working class folk don't deal with the "theoretical approach" to life as much as academics do.

For most working class people, what you see is what you get.
They are straight forward. If you are a mechanic, either the car works, or it doesn't. If you are an electrician, either the electrical system functions, or it doesn't. No theories, hypothesis, or explanations. It's pretty black and white, in this regards.

Many college educated folk seem to have the tendency to over-analyze things. Especially those who have been educated in the Humanities.

I guess that's the way they are trained to think in college? I don't know. I've never been to one, so I can't really say. But I have talked to a lot of college educated people and very often noticed that they get confused over the simplest of things.
