Hey, if you didn't notice, you'll probably have to register again. The board got hacked and they restored from a June 01 backup, so it probably wiped your registration.

I *think* it was posted by 'bonob', but even the exhalted Google cache can't get the page back again, and I'd really like to see more of their videos, if you'd be so kind! Sadly, I only had time to pull down a couple of the videos. D'oh!

I looked at one of the videos a couple of days ago, and it had nice close-ups doing a tie. That one at a minimum would make a handy tutorial for rope kōhai... (jeez, how do you pluralize something in Japanese??)

I *think* that google may have cached the page and may have it later on. Could be wrong though...

What we need is someone who allows their browser to keep a copy of their online history and copy-paste it. Of course it would have to be someone who clicked on the thread and I unfortunately don't save my history past one day because it messes up the login process for myspace.

The only other 'tutorial' vids I'd ever found were done by Chanta Rose for MenInPain. I've seen one, haven't seen the other two. There's also some DVDs available from 3 or 4 different bondage websites, but absolutely EVERY person I'd talked to about them said "they're crap, don't bother" without exception. (sigh) Here I am willing to pay real money for decent tutorials, and nobody is willing to put 'em out. All of my practical experience is right at 30 years ago, so I'm a tad rusty.

There's 3 on TwistedMonk's site that are OK, although he should have used a different color of rope as the details using red jute aren't very good. The 'Rope Weekly' has 4 or 5 little chunks, including a nice hair tie.

OBTW, Secret Magazine is nearly done producing the next book my Master K. It's titled 'The Beauty of Kinbaku'. I've tried finding the original one titled 'Shibari', but the cheapest I could find a copy was $190 from overseas, and I'll be fucked if I'll pay that much (sight unseen). For that kind of money, I kinda expect 'em to deliver it with a blowjob. If I'm gonna get reamed, I may as well enjoy it!

OT: as far as I can tell, a strict translation of 'shibari' is what we'd call knotting or tying. The correct Japanese phrase for erotic bondage is 'kinbaku', and the pretty version is 'kinbaku-bi', roughly translated to 'beautiful bondage'.

I'll be doing all of the screen caps tomorrow. I tried shrinking the files, and none of the programs I tried worked worth a damn. Oh, well.

Something new: BehindKink (the behind-the-scenes part of Kink.com) went FREE recently. I'm right now downloading a 3-part video series done by the Two Knotty Boys doing a tie tutorial. Looks like it'll be around 350meg when I get all the parts. Very cool! There's another tutorial by Lew Rubens I see on the first page, too. Even better, it didn't bother to check my e-mail address before giving me access. I used a 'one-time mailbox' at klassmaster that doesn't always work. Nobody gets a REAL e-mail until I trust 'em, which doesn't happen often.

Time to buy another harddrive!

Shrinking and splitting files haven't worked for me yet. I had to manually zip 1.5 gigs of preview clips from various sites and try to keep them under 100MB (since the free version of rapidshare only lets you upload 100MB at a time.) Annd keep a copy just in case someone wants them when they're deleted from rapidshare.

Methinks I'll need a new harddrive too with all the downloading I've been doing

Grin. I was actually trying to transcode the videos to compress them tighter. 50 meg for a 5 minute segment was a little much. All of the video editing programs I used just mangled the video when I got down to 2/3rds the file size or smaller. I was getting a lot of visible artifacts and such, so I blew it off. I've shrunk other people's video clips before and gotten up to 10x higher compression, compared to the junky CODEC they'd used to encode the file originally. No so this time!

I staggered back to MenInPain and found the bondage tutorials with Chanta. There's 4, not 3 of 'em. Here's the shoot ID# and brief descriptions:

Very nice, Ntense (and bonob). The bondage on these videos is a middle ground between the strict and brutal bondage of Insex and the pop bondage of sites who dabble in poor ropework for the sake of climbing on the bandwagon.

If you ignore the elevator music in the background, the videos are pretty good. Personally, I'd rather hear the actual moans and groans of the girl rather than that music.
