I hate the Flyers because it's an established rivalry and I wish you guys would have layed a beating on them.

Sadly the Wings haven't been able to beat the Flyers in the regular season in Philidelphia since like 1997! Of course did sweep their asses in the 97 Cup Finals!

I hope your boys come back soon and all the injured Red Wings return soon with Datsyuk and Lidstrom being at the top of the list!
And I hope you had tons of fun watching your boys play live!

And you're right, Detroit is 4th in the Western Conference while Pittsburgh is 4th in the east. Of course Detroit should be first in the west! STUPIED INJURIES!

if you can sympathize with me not having Crosby... arguably the best player in the league today and no Letang who if he had been healty all season would likely be a candidate for Norris trophy contention (Though your boy Lidstrom would probably get it again)... then yes I can definetly symathize for your losses as well. Just remember that ou havent had to deal with it nearly as long as I have so I need extra sympathy hugs.

I'm glad you can sympathize with me and I know that Pittsburgh has definitely been bit by the injury bug a lot this season and last season too! The thing is Datsyuk is the hands down best two way forward in the NHL and Lidstrom is probably still the best defenseman and combine that with Jonathon Ericksson and Jakob Kindle also being out on defense with Todd Bertuzzi out at forward and Jimmy Howard out at goalie and the Wings are pretty much fucked right now.

Sorry I've been absent from the thread the past week...

I feel like the Wings and Canucks are both needing to catch their breath, regain their composure, and forget about the games from last week.

On a good note at least the Habs finally won a game, too bad it had to be against the Canucks though, and too bad we got humiliated in our own building. It still stings.

Also I hear The Kid is due back soon, fingers crossed he doesn't get hit again anytime soon.
