Bad calls by the refs these days so common it is insane! And don't forget the no calls! Yesterday late in the Wings' game the refs totally ignored two different Red Wings players being hauled off their feet by Colorado players and looked the other way so as not to give Detroit a late powerplay.

Well, the trade deadline was interesting. Not a whole helluvalot happened except with Columbus. The canucks trading CoHo really pisses me off though, I hate the fact Gillis is giving into peer pressure saying we need more grit, this trade is going to hurt us in the long run I think. We also got Pahlsson to replace Cody as a centre, which I see as a waste...Maybe head office knows more than me but who knows for sure, only time will tell. The guys I wanted gone are still on the team which annoys me to no end as well, Rome, Ballard, Alberts, all shitty D-men in my books.

As for the Habs, they seemed to be trading to the Preds quite a bit, they are gonna miss Gill's size in the long run. It also makes the Preds more dangerous which I am worried about.

The Wings had a good trade and got Kyle Quincey, he is very underrated. Your gonna like him quite a bit.

I guess only time will tell if these are good trades or not. And I apologize I know little to nothing about the Pens and what they are up to, except when it comes to Crosby, in which case he is all over the news all of the time and I can't ignore him...

It's all good.. I like to brag so I will tell you all about them.

Right now Geno is the leagues leading scorer.
Fleury is the third rated goalie behind Pekka Rinne and Howard
Letang is the 20th rated defeneman but had he not had to sit out for a few months and had his numbers been consistant with how he played prior and since his return he would easily be in Norris trophy contention.
We just signed Neal to a 30 million dollar contract and thats pretty much all the major decisions that were made.
Shero stayed pat this deadline as he believes in the team we have. So do I. Though a new good backup goalie could be a good thing. Johnson isn't quite doing as good as he has in the past. Whch saddens me to say. I really like Johnson. Especially after fight last season.

I've actually followed most of Quincey's carreer since he was original a Red Wings prospect and player they lost on waivers when they tried to move him to the minors a few years ago! The Wings' front office likes him so much they traded both a first round pick and a prospect for him and he should help shore up the defense now and in the future.

Poor ol' Rollie needs to be replaced, I have had a bet going since last summer that Schneider will be traded in the next year or two to Tampa. I am interested in what a Pens fan thinks of Crosby it seems like everyone is sick of his hype at this point.

It's ok we don't need a Stanley Cup, I am over it...Sort of...fucking bruins. But no that is why I am a Habs fan no one can dispute their legacy.They might not be too good right now but I am hoping the Northern teams will bring the cup back up here where it rightfully belongs. Just as long as it isn't the Leafs that do it.

I forgot Quincey was originally a Winds prospect. I guess he has come full circle. Hope that happens with Hodgson too...

On another note I am missing the Coyotes Vs Canucks tonight, and I am beyond annoyed to miss the debut of the new players we got.

Crosby... Well, Crosby is Crosby and love him or hate him his talent can not be denied. We love him. Why? Because he's ours. If he were your you would love him too. He is so damned gifted that he garners attention whether or not he wants it. Do I think his case is being exploited.. It's a definite possibility. Are we tired of hearing about it? Yes and no. Yes because it means he isn't playing. No because we hope and pray for the day that says Crosby has a clean bill of health. Face it, if he were yours you'd want him back too.
