I would expect that most men here would find it a turn on, just like how I would find it a turn on if I learned a guy I was attracted had sexually assaulted someone in their past. Some people can't handle that someone they want was already "taken" by someone else. Immaturity manifests itself in some strange ways. As far as the attractive part....i suppose it would depend. I don't say this to make it seem like I'd enjoy it. A lot of people that like rape in the first place don't really have a choice in the matter. I'm sure guilt would play a part in this if they enjoyed rape. I suppose that it may intimidate someone if their loved one was raped and they may feel helpless. It may stay with them and somewhat haunt and depress them as long as they stay with the person. It's the same with abuse and other things. As far as me personally i would comfort her. Let her know it doesn't matter in the relationship. Or at least matters just as much as if she wasn't a virgin. Trauma would only influence the relationship enough for me to willing end it if we couldn't stop focusing on it and it made us both miserable.

i agree with this totally ! however i would say that if i could see that it did impact and was a cause of pain for my partner i would definitely go out my way to help and reassure them that it did not change the way i felt for them.

In fact it wouldnt have to necessarily be a partner! if anyone confided in me such information i would try my best to asiist them in whatever way i saw fit.
