BlackMail Rape Techniques

Hello board.

Since someone (whose name I forgot) made me think about blackmail rape on this board (thanks to him), I've found myself wondering "how blackmailists can be so sure about their businesses" ?

Blackmail victims can be unstable women capable to snap and go to the police . They know they would loose the game, but ending up in prison or paying huge fines to the court could be more acceptable in their eyes than having to cope with an ugly obsessive utter hate feeling 24/7.

I'm reading Stefan Zweig's "Fear" where a high class rich lady is blackmailed by a low class lady who saw her dating a lover. How the hell can the low class lady prove anything to the victim husband ? She ain't got no camera in her eyes right ? Plus the story happens in 1922 ! Theres' no Iphone, no technology, nothing ! I don't know about you guyz, but most blackmail scenarios I have seen aren't really realistic (IMO).

I guess my question is : have you guys ever seen laudable blackmail scenarios and what kind of blackmail techniques are you using to have complete control on your imaginary victims ?
