I have always had a grim fascination for all "real" stuff, not exclusively snuff movies. As I love to download rare movies from anywhere all over the world, I quiet often found extreme rape scenes from exotic countries, where the censorship is not as rigid as in Germany or the US. It appeared several times to me, that the crying and desperation in the eyes of the female victims e.g in numerous asian gangbang movies is not at all played. It's a two-edged knife to me - it is surely immoral to watch AND enjoy this, but the thought that I'm now watching something gruesome that REALLY took place is the ultimate sexual kick for me, as a part of me always dreams that something about as extreme as this would happen to me...

I can only agree with you here Lou... theres a whole world of difference between abhorrence of the reality and the fantasy that can create an emotionally powerful piece of writing... in the world of writing, the author is god with the ability to create and destroy (should it be necessary)...

but the revulsion of the 'reality' has no place here or anywhere

I have written stories that featured violent death also. But my definition of snuff is using a death itself for sexual gratification. That has no place here, even in fantasy, just as a fictional story invloving minors has no place here.

We've all seen movies or read books were people meet death - that's not snuff at all, it's a story, a story of fiction. Posting movies or stories that contain a death scene (or several) is totally fine with us, no problem there.

Well, by definition a real snuff movie however is a movie/video where a victim is killed live - camera rolling - for sick perverts to enjoy. That's something we won't have on this forum! Not even via PM!

When I read the post by rpstlker, I took him to mean fantasy that included death. It seems to me that we all spend time thinking about a subject that most of society finds abhorent, that is why we come here. Here, we hope to find people with open minds that like us, realize that the real line is between fantasy and reality. For those that responded with such negativity, think about how you would sond to those out side of this forum. What they might hear is "It's ok to rape someone, destroying their sense of security and self worth but we won't go so far as to kill them!" Sound rediculous? Of course it does because we know we have no intent to leave the realm of fantasy. I guess what I am saying is, it is almost like the pot calling the kettle black!?! (i.e. hypocritical) As long as we are talking about fantasy, who are we to judge so harshly!

I just want to say first of, I kinda agree with your sentiment. However...this board has defined areas of subject and clearly defined sense of reality versus fantasy. There are other places where snuff, real and fantasy are discussed. Just not here. That said, there are those on the board who detest the fact we have Beastie, Incest, Scat and BDSM on the same board which is dedicated to rape fantasy...as a writer of stories I do sometimes include elements which I know will repel some readers...what I'm trying to say in a rambling way, is that its a matter of personal taste.

Fantasy Snuff has its place, just not here. If thats seen as hypocrisy, then so be it.

Again, I think its personal taste, you wouldnt expect members of a golf club to allow other members to play football on the greens.
