You thought the new law in UK was bad?

We have decided to introduce a new offence for the possession of extreme pornographic material. We propose that this offence will criminalise the possession of pornographic images which realistically depict:

• Life-threatening acts and violence that would appear likely to cause severe injury;
  
• Rape and other non- consensual penetrative sexual activity, whether violent or otherwise
• Bestiality or necrophilia.

The maximum penalty for the proposed new offence will be 3 years imprisonment.

Basicly a single picture where a person appears to be forced is enough to make you a "dangereous" criminal. Imagine having to spend 3 years in prison for the possession of concensual rape fantasy pictures when you can get a shorter sentence from actually committing a rape...

They have nothing to back up this claim but they know very well what is good for people so they don't need to waste their time by trying to find any facts to support their theories. This was indeed one of their main arguments for banning this kind of material in UK and for the possible ban of all rape fantasy material in Scotland. There is no record of anyone being forced to act in these kind of scenes but that is naturally something really irrelevant in a case like this.

Guess every single person visiting RB is infact a victim who is hurting themselves by these degrading sexual acts which are evil because... well, they said so.

Edit: Possessing concensual rape fantasy material might also get you labeled as a sexual offender. How fun is that?

Actually Thailand banned the GTA games after some kid played them and killed a taxi driver to "test out the games in real life" so the way UK has been dealing with things lately I'm sure they would do exactly the same thing.

Seriously that island has the best ways to deal with problems...

A 19 years old man died in UK because he drank 15 shots of vodka in 20 minutes. Now his parents are campaigning to change the law so you would need to be 21 before you can drink any alcohol in UK and in a way this case is very similar to the recent ban of extreme pornography in UK so I wouldn't be suprised if they manage to change the law.

Exactly what I have been fearing since after all EU makes the spreading process so much easier now. Well we can only hope these absurd actions that some politicians have been taking are reflecting the current state of the whole political and ideologial infrastructure so by assuming this is the case the whole thing might come down before it is too late.

It is actually funny how close this is to banning all pornography or declaring any concensual BDSM related activity illegal. Noir, sorry to disappoint you, but all the police need in England is a warrant from the local magistrates which is easily obtained, all the police need to do is lay an information, basically a piece of paper telling them why they have reasonable suspison that they will find unlawful material on the premises. England has not been a country of free speech for many a year, and a lot of other freedoms are been curtailed, THE MORE NUMEROUS THE LAWS, THE MORE CORRUPT THE STATE
