She had just gotten engaged a little over a month ago to a certain Darren Howell, otherwise known as the suerhero Animus. Did Fuse know about that too?

A thousand questions burned in her mind, but she pushed them away. "I'm sorry. Who?" She asked innocently, trying to feign that she had no idea who this 'Miss Chapmen' character was.

Keeping the mask with him he waltzed back over to the panel. pushing another button that lowered a television screen down in front of her. It blinked on, playing a montage of scenes from her alter ego's life. Grocery shopping, walking down the street, talking with friends, eating with Davis...

"You didn't think anyone would figure it out did you?" He asked smugly. "It was pure coincidence really. I was shopping at the grocery when I heard you call out to your lover boy there. I just knew it sounded familiar and the more I watched the more it all came together."

The screen flashed again, names and dates going by. Her adress, her social security number, her habits, the homes of her friends, everything about her life was displayed. For all of his insanity, Fuse knew how to get the job done.

Davids face flashed by as well, but nothing that gave away his secret identity as a hero was there. "You two are so sweet together," Fuse laughed to himself. "Maybe I should pay him visit. Of course I should probably stop by your other friends first. After all, they're probably getting worried by now.

She watched, dumbfounded as her entire life flashed before her eyes on the TV screen. Her birth date, her name, her parent's names, a biography, a carefully-compiled list of her schedule and habits... It was all there.

Her heart started violently pounding in her chest. If she had been frightened before, Lena was now several levels beyond that. Focusing, she tried to ignite herself again, but the foam did its job too well. She struggled against her bonds, her entire body jerking as she tried to free herself.

But as he threatened to pay her loved ones a visit, Lena became absolutely still, all the color draining from her face.

"Don't you dare go near them," she said, her eyes glinting with a murderous rage. "If you come within an inch of anyone I know, it'll be the last thing you do."

"Really now, are you in the position to make threats?" he chuckled as he circled her. "I just love how self-riotous you heros are. No matter how many civilians we kill you all let us live and stick to your 'no killing' policy. But as soon as we threaten someone you love..." He let it trail off, just watching her squirm for the moment.

"So now its time we had some fun," he grinned as clapped his hands and activated another aspect of the room. Her hand clamps released themselves, freeing her and letting her slide off the table as the floor opened and the table disappeared. It was not just him and her standing there separated by only a few yards.

"I want to do this right," he said with a gleam of madness in his eyes. "Lets see how you face me without your fire. You win, you go free. But if you lose..."

It wasn't a fair fight by any means. His healing factor would keep her from killing him and he could seal the room at any time. But she was Miss Pyro after all. He wanted to feel her squirming in his grip, not just strapped down to the table.

Lena was off the table in seconds, every muscle in her body taunt and ready. No, this wasn't a fair fight, Lena realized, her anger growing. She was not one of those superheroes who trained for hours a day at some martial art--in fact, she knew next to nothing when it came to hand-to-hand combat. Without her flames, she was royally screwed.

Nevertheless, she started to circle him.

Fuse's healing ability was common knowledge, but she had no idea if he had any skills with straight-out brawling. Yes, she was going to lose, but she'd be damned if she didn't make things interesting.

Suddenly, her foot lashed out, the black boot catching the supervillian right in the crotch.

"That's for threatening my fiance, you fuck." She hissed, glaring at him venomously.

Fuse almost fell to his knees with that last attack, clutching his balls as he gritted his teeth. Just becuase you could heal any injury didn't mean it didn't hurt like a bitch.

"Nice move," he grunted, "lets see what else you can do."

Circling her until he got his wind back he moved in for the attack. He wasn't much for fancy martail arts or anything, so he stuck with a good old-fashioned tackle. He aimed for her chest, throwing her to the ground and back-handing her hard enough to daze her a bit. God, he was hard as she fought back and he moved to grab her wrists.

A triumphant grin crossed her features as Fuse clutched his balls, obviously in pain. The look on his face was absolutely priceless. If only she had a camera! Now that would be a newsworthy front-page photo.

She should have attacked him again then during his moment of weakness, but she didn't. There were some things that superheroes just don't do: killing is one, kicking someone while they're down (or in this case, protecting their family jewels) is another. It was stupid, but honorable.

And in this case, a mistake.

She was on the ground suddenly with Fuse on top of her and her cheek stinging from his powerful backhand. When he grabbed her wrists, holding them in a vice-like grip, Lena started to kick and buck, trying whatever she could think of to free herself.

"Let me go! Just wait until this stuff dries off! When it does, you're dead!"

There was a small 'beeb' before another spray of the stuff hit her face, drenching her giving him a moment to grab her catsuit by the front and find the zipper that held it all together. By the time she could see him again he had already pulled it down and was staring at her luscious breasts.
