He says that's his animal spirit and the way he found it was during a car accident. Apparently when you experience a knocking over fear you see the animal and then it never leaves you. Some people also say they found their animal spirit by taking psy mushrooms lol. I've been looking over gg for more details and it seems Pagan is often associated with Wicka and all shaman cultures. I'm always interested to find out about new ways of thinking/feeling but all I could find was more like aesthetical celebrations and rituals than a real teaching/philosophy about life. Maybe I did not look in the right sites. Apologies if I offended any Pagan/Wickan practitioners on the board, I'm just trying to learn more about it, always interested in finding a meaning in life.

Yeah I suppose that's one way, I do remember that's how the ex got her spirit guide, I think that's what she called him, some old Cherokee medicine man. The story was she was in hospital in a coma, woke up and saw him sitting there, then he was gone but he keeps looking out for her.

I dunno much more about it, just knew it comforted her and that was enough for me
