I have noticed religion is a subject that often comes back here.
Questions are often ''Can a rape fantasizer be a religious person'' or ''Would you rape a sister in religion or stuff like that''

Not that I'm offended at all. Yes I'v being wondering a lot about religion. But freedom of speech is essential. So I'm not shocked or disturbed but I would just like to ask this :

For those of you who consider Karma as a religious phenomenon, how do you think Karma could strike back on you after a rape ? How could sexually abusing a woman could wave through the big scheme of things and boomerang back at you in a new form ?

Would it turn on to be a paranoid feeling ? Could other suddenly make you feel you have nothing to give to the society ? Could it make you loose your speaking abilities ? And make you unable to get a job ?

First of all I consider myself deeply religious.

But I've found that I can justify in my mind a difference between the two subjects. Because one is fantasy and the other is real life. In my mind I think I can be as evil as I want. But in real life it is completely different.

Yeah sure but it's the Karma translation I was trying to think about.
As far as I understand it, Karma never makes you pay the harm you've done the same way. No eye to eye thing with the Karma. I guess it is probably impossible to say precisly how someone will pay for his acts but maybe it could be brighten a little, at least with the near future. For instance : you get bored at work, you leave your office and go to the coffee machine as you're supposed to stay in your office to be takin a phone call. While you sip your coffee, the smell of it reaches a secretary, she gets pissed because she would also like a coffee but she knows she can't leave her office by that time. Her anger turns out she parks her car on a handicaped reserved parking place on her way back from lunch. The next client you are supposed to meet this afternoon is a guy in weelchair. He is pissed off because someone parked his car in the only handicaped people place and he gets rid of his frustration by yelling at you your work is crap.

That's how Karma works to me. It's like an interdependant cycle everybody's trapped in. But that was just a near future exemple. If you push this logic to its limits in a long term future, you can bring up the question of reincarnation.

I would love to know how a rape could boomerang back at a rapist. What shape the punishment would take ?
