I mean yea, condoms, but they're not 100% effective, and a lot of times, I see moives where the guys hitting it without protection. HTF.

I mean it makes no sense. With their looks they can easily punk a guy into giving her money if their doing it for financial reasons, yet instead they let a guy have their way.

A) As Dash said, there's a special organization that checks all pornstars for health. In addition, those female porn stars use birth control of some sort - there is no way they are going to risk pregnancy by not using it.

1. All adult film stars test through an organization called AIM. Won't give the link, no need to advertise for the the money grubbers. This has to be done EVERY 30 days whether they work or not, and runs about 200 bucks a test. As for pregnancy, most women in the industry are on birth control of some sort. The worry about STDSs is minimal. Occasionally there will be an outbreak fo something, but any adult talent worth their salt, has an account with AIM giving them access to check up on EVERY other performers test status.

2. It's a quick buck thats more fun then stripping. An average girl can make between 700 and 900 for a B/G scene with no anal involved. So it's pretty much like having sex with their boyfriend, but rather then giving it up for dinner and a movie, they are getting their rent paid for a few hours work. There are other factors that can raise or lower this, but figure profit on a single shoot is around 700. Not bad for two to three hours work.

3. My wife is a fairly well known adult actress and model. Redlight District Cover Girl etc. Before that, quite a well known non adult model. Think calvin klein, Budweiser, etc. And myself, well, I photograph, write, produce and direct adult material. And I can honestly say there is nothing like it in the world. Don't have to work until say 10 or 11 if you decide to work at all, done by 6 or so on the average to have dinner with the wife and kids. take a few onths off at a time if you feel like it. There are not that many industry's where guys like me, your basic techno geek, gets to surround himself with hot women, naked all day long. The whores use birth control so they dont get pregnant by the billions of sperm passing through them all the time. And I'm guessing that they get checked regularly for std's but I'm sure ALLL of have HPV. HPV CANNOT be avoided, no matter what you use. And its only detectable in women when they get their pap. Serious strings of it can cause cancer. Men are just carriers, but its usually undetectable.

Actually....My wife has been doing adult videos for about three years now, and we're also very active in the swinging community. And she doesn't have anything. And you're right...again, they are checked no more then every 30 days. And, most women in the industry actually undergo TWO pap smears a year. Just to be safe.

Further, if girls test and are shown to have HPV then it is listed on their resume or on the AIM site for producers and other talent to see. On a whim I went and checked and out of about 200 girls I looked through only TWO are positive with HPV. It's actually not as common as you think. But which fits right up there in the national standard for the virus. Though, according to the CDC the highest rated age group for HPV are 15 to 24 years olds. And yes, there are 6 MILLION new cases of it every year. But there are over 30 types of HPV, but only 4 of them, types 6, 11, 16 and 18 are the main cause of genital warts or cervical cancer. And MANY adult companies now, Reference numerous articles on adult news sites like AVN, AI News etc, refuse to hire girls under the age of 21. So this cuts down the real focus area by around 67% of those who are diagnosed with HPV.

And they really don't have that much sperm passing through them...LOL....95% of all videos have an external pop shot. The cream pies are a specialty and a lot of girls won't do those.

As for oral, studies have shown that the digestive enzymes in the mouth, throat and in the stomach, kill 99% of all viruses etc that come into contact with them (again, various articles produced by the CDC as reference material) so getting a disease orally is virtually non existent. In fact, among the HIV positive community, oral sex is the favored way to have sex with non HIV positive individuals because the contract rate is again, virtually non existent through oral sex. Providing there are no open mouth sores, cavities etc. (CDC once more)

I know it's been a while, but I didn't notice all the replies I got until today. I'm terribly sorry and I truely appreciate all the detailed responses everyone has provided me with.

Now I've taken several sex ED courses etc. in high school and in college, but I never recall hearing about HPV. I could just research on google, but what the hell does it do to humans exactly ?

My response was they DON'T! Most of them who don't use protection get diseases! Anyone who engages in unprotected sex with hundreds of partners has a 10000% higher chance of catching an STD, pornstars aren't an exception.. I don't have to be in the porn business or have a medical background to see that.

FYI, I have nothing against pornstars, they know the risks and it's their choice. To say they evade getting STDs is a little ridiculous though.

No, it needs no engagment with porn industry or medical schools to make one's mind work and think that these people get tested more often than anyone else. They're the almost most clean you can find. What else did you think I meant when I said protection ? Read the OPs post and my reponse, wtf else would I be talking about. You do realize that AIDS, hep. C and many other STDs can remain dormant in one's system. Meaning they could test negative for 1-2 years+ and still pass on the disease.

To say they're the most clean you can find next to virgins is ABSURD!!!!! wow, I don't think that statement even deserved a response.
