You're right Sani and I'm now using the HIDE button because I'm a bit tired to reup all stuff 1 or 2 times but I'm interested to see if these buttons will avoid links to be deleted.

And the other problem...

This is big and public board so it is rather easy to find. You only need one twisted invidual to report all the files and it might just be up to luck if you get into this kind of situation.

You won't be banned for spam if you thank people in invidual threads as long as you don't just run around writing "THX" in every thread instead of giving some real feedback. Personal messages showing gratitude can't be considered to be spam in any situation in my opinion.

Theres one particular forum where every single thread is full of like 100 thank yous in order to see content. The annoying thing is every page takes forever to load when threads get splattered with spam comments.

It seems to me if the person posting is chooseing to hide,then it is no threat to freedom at all,in fact the opposite.

Well first of all you could have said all this in one post!!!! why don't you folks read thru the board? It has been posted numerous times that there are other sections where you can raise your post count. Try the stories thread. Read a few stories, you may like them and make a few comments, or post your own stories. Try the Idle Talk forum, start a thread or make a comment on some of the conversations there. Get involved!! Or start a thread in the Rowdy Room and do some complaining there. It will all improve your count and we wont have to see

hey guys I was a long term viewer
but have to sorry for not contributing before now
one of the main reason I have not contributed before now is the social stigma attached
yes its fine to have a private interest
but to leave a visible audit trail on the internet was a step to far
I do believe there is no other way, if we are to keep this site active we have to hide the links unless people contribute

I got to say that I support the hidden blocks. Yeah, it takes time to build up the post and I refuse to spam with one worded thanks, but it's a small price to pay to enjoy the work all these fine people have done. It was a shame to see some links reported within minutes of posting. I got to also add that since I had to start posting, I've discovered areas of this board that I never looked at before and now enjoy visiting. In fact, a majority of my post numbers come from posting in the general discussion or idle talk forums. It to the point where I generally start out in the general discussion forum first and maybe come to the movie forum to check out what's new. So for all those who are complaining, do yourself a favor, check out the rest of the board and realize that the fine folks that are posting movies are doing it from the goodness of their heart and should be appreciated.
