Gah, I was too bored to even watch last nights game after the first 15 minutes. I took a nap. Me, the insomniac, opted to sleep over watching my favorite sport in the whole world. Though considering the trouncing we received I'm glad I missed most of it. Why the fuck couldn't we keep it in our own zone? Sweet baby cheesebus, Fleury is good but he can only handle so much effing traffic. Since they forgot, I will now give a quick lesson to my guys, ready? The object is to keep it (it being the puck, that little black hard round rubber thing you hit with sticks,) away from your goalie and put it in front of theirs... Fuck!

Getting trounced like that always sucks but any team can have a few games like that in the course of a season! Though I think your team losing a bunch of close games in a row sucks even more and I was ready to chew conrete after the wings recent five game losing streak where every game was close and they had leads in four of them.
Seemed to have gotten over that streak though and the Wings ground out a shootout victory over San Jose last night to win one out of two of back to back games on the west coast.
So what do you think of the proposed realignment Lys?

Honestly, I haven't payed any attention to anything other than games and stats. I was so burnt out by the whole lock out that I avoid any of the other bullshit except the hockey itself. Enlighten me?

Last nights game against the Bruins.... wow. The whole game was intense, we kept playing really well, we just couldn't make a fucking goal, then BAM. 3 goals in under 5 minutes to win the game. Just wow. I'm still in awe. Also I was and am sick so I missed a lot of the game due to hugging my toilet. I did catch the last and most important 5 minutes.

It will be interesting to see how Iginla fits into a talent laden team after being on a team where he was 70% of the talent at least! Your Pens are definitely making some moves and that is one hell of a win streak they're on.

Well last night sucked ass, and I knew it was gonna end badly when I saw Vokoun was our starting goalie. Don't get me wrong, I really like Vokoun, a lot. But it was just a gut feeling that he needed a break and the pressure was mounting. Ah well, it was bound to end sooner or later. Still a damned fine run though.

Wasn't exactly slacking the Penguis winning 15 in a row that's for sure!
Your boys made some good pickups in the last week or so with Morrow and Iginla but it is unfortunate you lost Crosby to that broken jaw. Of course as often as he gets hurt the Pens have gotta be used to playing without him!
So how do you feel about the Wings moving to the Eastern Conference next yeart and their being two 8 team division instead of three five team divisions?

Meh, I guess it doesn't bother me a whole lot. It does suck but after the damned lock out I'm not gonna complain too loudly.

We just got Jussi Jokinen so our front line is looking good 'til Crosby gets back. Jeez I hope they remember how to play again. The last two games were fucking awful. Keep it in the offensive zone and away from our goalie. Jeez. Not rocket science.

I was doing the angry swearing after the Wings' last game when the lost 1-0 to St. Louis because no one on the Wings would shoot blocker side on the Blues' goalie!

Crosby doesn't look like he got his jaw broke at all and he's talking really clearly too! Must not have been a bad break and probably a good surgeon.

On the Red Wings front it is really weird to be seeing the Wings fighting for the 8th spot in the Western Conference! Stupid injuries and short season!

It seems Shero got all the new heavy hitters just in time. It's so odd that we are going to the playoffs and our 3 main guys are out. (Crosby, Geno and Lazy (Neal))

Thank the flying spaghetti monster that Tanger is back and Fleury didn't take to hard a hit that it knocked him out of the lineup for longer.

I am so ready for tonights game. We had a long break and I am starting to get antsy. I don't know what I'm gonna do in the off season.

Always sucks when the refs are the oposition as well! Saw that your Pens made it seven wins in a row tonight! The Wings handed out a nice thrashing 4-0 on the Coyotes and hopefully can win the last 4 of the season to make it into the playoffs for a 22nd season in a row. STUPID SHORT SEASON AND INJURIES!

Oh lord what a game that was. The whole "bounty on Cooke" was retarded. I'm so glad we beat those guys. I hate that people think Cooke hasn't changed. He totally has. I have seen him skate away from so many altercations and seen him actively avoid hitting anyone badly. I am the first to admit he used to be a goon, but he has proven himself worthy of wearing that jersey. Any jersey. He's a damn good player. For people that don't watch Pens games all the time, as I do, to say that he is still an "assassin" is fucking stupid and biased.

Cooke for Lady Byng. Dammit.
