Whoops. No problem, done.

But someone here needs to update that in the admin control panel. When a new person registers and sets up the profile and options, there's a section listing Group Memberships they can join. THAT's where you need to let people know if there are any requirements or restrictions and let us know what they are. Go have a look.. this is what it says:

Privileged Users
Joining Conditions - "Anyone is free to join this usergroup."

(If anyone is not free to join without restriction, it should say so.) Those group membership requests can also sit in a pending status until a board staff person makes sure it's valid/appropriate and approves them.

Then... sneaky new members like me who wander around so much won't get away with.. well, whatever it was I got away with there.. lol.

Anyway.. I wasn't trying to be hasty there. Just looking around the site to see what else would be accessible to a registered member (versus an unregistered visitor). When it said I could join a privledged group, I figured that was probably for donations. Some kind of perk or special access to something or other for contributing members who donate a few bucks to offset hosting fees. It still surprises me when I find an active and well developed board that's not hitting the members up for money every time a link gets clicked and a page refreshes.

lol, well were cool like that huni, and theres no real problem with it and theres no anger, its just a common noob mistake.....yes, its something admin needs to fix, but his priority list has millions of bigger things on it so its a no go TT_TT but glad you understand and welcome to the board sephy! hope to get ta interact lots more with ya ~.^
