Stern
I'm here to have fun. I avoid the pointless bickering, although I do get a kick out of it, and I mostly keep my opinions to myself. I'm really just here to play, flirt, and explore fantasies. Some of your posts have irked me and I've been tempted to comment on them, but usually in the end I decide it's really not worth my time.
However, to bring up such a volitile, deeply disturbing act of terrorism and CONDONE it, (which is EXACTLY what you did although you did it in an incredibly cowardly way, hiding behind the politics of it) confirms my nagging suspicions of you. YOU ARE A NASTY MEAN SPIRITED BITCH. (90% of your interactions here are nothing but insulting pompous dribble.) I only wish that you and your family will some day suffer the same fate of those innocent people that were trapped in the WTC towers, above the raging fires, suffocating and burning to death. Then we'll discuss the politics of it, you worthless cunt |

Yes = No. No = Yes

Well Stern does have a point. America DID have it coming.
Here's my mindset before 9/11 and probably the mindset of nearly every American - We are invincible! No one would be foolish enough to attack our mainland. Japan snuck up on us at Pearl Harbor, but that was a fluke! No one would dare attack us now!

I do hope that your words are in jest SO! Stern and I have been friends for quite some time and while I don't always agree with her statements or stances her posts are some of RB's best! And Stern is certainly one of RB's best!

yeah...im friends with both you SO and stern, so im not trying to pick a side or anything...
but i dont care what stern said, in jest or in all seriousness. what you said in reply was very offensive. you should never say those kinds of things, especially on a board like this. everyone carries baggage, and you have no clue what kind of things might have happened in her, or anyones pasts. how would you like it if you made a post, someone took offense, and whether they knew it or not, ripped open an old, painful emotional wound? if i were you hun, id really think about taking down that insult ASAP. besides, if you really wanted to get back at her, just make fun of the 7/7 bombings...no need to get personal

I think Sterne was clear "in my opinion" in what she said, she didn't didn't say the people deserved this but the system or the governemt cause her private reasons and no one could forced her to say her reasons if she don't want to say,I think the all poeple are sad about who died in 11/9. I'm sorry for the civilians who died in 11/9 and also the civilians who died in Palestine,Lebanon,Europe "in the world war",Japan,Bosna,Iraq,Africa and in any other place in the world. I think the all people are alike in this,we shouldn't put a difference between the American civilian who died in 11/9 and the any other civilian from another country died cause of a similar thing. |

Hmmmm....I completely missed that post. I havent been reading many of the threads lately because people have just been eye gouging each other.
Stern is not wrong. She stated that she doesnt feel that the people who died had it coming. The country itself had it coming, and as an American I completely agree. This country is getting so much more messed up day by passing day. I use to think the same as alot of people. I use to feel patriotic at one time and think we were invincible and as an American, no foriegn hater could touch me...even during my visit overseas when I finished high school. I felt safe in neighborhoods I shouldnt have felt so safe in because I was an American on foriegn soil and nobody would touch me. my mind was set straight about this country after I went to college. Granted I had plenty of leftist professors...but I completely knew the point they were trying so hard to make during a oh-so-patriotic time. U.S history is all about imperialism. Nobody can touch us. If they even talk about it, we kill them. The U.S has shut down any foriegn power trying to speak for their independence and placed puppets in governement appointed chairs of foriegn nations. Cuba? Nicaragua? The U.S only allowed their appointed puppets to run those countries. These U.S approved governements oppressed their people, very much so to the delight of the U.S governement. When the people tried to fight back against the oppressive regime, violence was wrought against them. All the resistence militias wanted was to get U.S backed officials out. They wanted the independence of their nation. Dont even get me started on the CIA and the reason why that agency was formed. The U.S hides under a veil of altruism, while its anything but. This is why people dont like us and they are right in this. I want to migrate somewhere else myself. This country is going to be so fucked in a couple of years. What a great post. I couldnt agree more. I didnt cry for the victims, because I dont cry for people who I do not know. I am sad for them...but I am sad for all victims of terrorism, including the victims who have suffered from the hands of the U.S. Last edited by ChiTownHoney; 07-11-2008 at 07:26 PM. |

i can only speak for myself in here . as i stated (and to expand on it) i think it's wrong to use any national (or personal) tragedy for an insult . and i don't know if stern meant it that way ... as i also stated that is what it felt like to me .
i was waiting to see how she responded to Mugga123's question before commenting on it , but .... and only secret can say why she was hurt and lashed out like she did . Last edited by touriquet2001; 07-11-2008 at 07:44 PM. Reason: add the "expand" |

not stirring the "pot" any , but ....
since the general feeling is that my country (america) deserved the terrorist attack , how about the other countries around the world that has them done ? are they innocent ? is it only america that deserves it ? i know my country isn't perfect , but i also know none are . i can name a few people on here , that if these comments were directed at their country they would be raising holy hell right now . why is it okay to say these things about america and not the other countries ? sorry , had to get that out . my country isn't perfect , but is yours ? |

Thats true Touri! I may not be very patriotic, but thats just me. I feel the way I do for several reasons, but there should not be a double standard.

Like I said, I DO NOT want to discuss the politics behind the attacks of 911.
And let's remember that she jumped into the thread and she posted that hateful, vindictive, spiteful reply. out of the clear blue!!! To spew such hurtful commets is intolerable, especially on a board like this!!!! I love you guys, but I stand by what I said. I will not go back and edit my post. I consider any vile creature that truly believes that ANY country DESERVESto have INNOCENT lives OBLITERATED most definitley deserves to experience that same horrific suffering that which they so casually condone for others. THAT IS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT... We are not debating military actions... Pearl Harbour??? BULLSHIT, there's a difference between our armed forces and our CIVILIANS. It's not the subject of disagreeing with a country's politics or policies. It's an act of TERRORISM on innocent human beings Yes, it's harsh but I have zero sympathy and immeasuable contempt for anyone who isn't utterly appalled by the attacks of Sept 11, 2001 Hmmmm... wonder if she thinks "the Jews had it coming" too??? im not disagreeing, but seriously, you cant just blame the terrorists...airport security is just as culpable, possibly moreso. and there are many countries that have had terrorist attacks committed on them. like i said above, the 7/7 bombings in london killed a lot of people. canada has a few too, like the air india incident, and the october crisis. every country has its own story, and its not a wound unique to america.
