Please help me - Rape Board

I'm trying to write a poem called 'Lady Death'.
I have a line that says : "The end is near for you my dear"
The problem is I can't figure out if this line comes from my imagination or if I stole it in some songs lyrics. As I know there's some poetry & music fans here, thanks you for letting me know if you already heard that somewhere or not.

did a serch for you on this and couldnt come up with any songs on several lyric databases.
could you be thinking of the one that goes...and now the end is near and so i face the final curtain.
its a well known i think it was called i did it my way.

So if I undersatnd correctly, the lyrics database you've been looking through didn't contain anything but still you think the 'and now the end is near and so i face the final curtain' is a famous one is that correct ?

the database didnt contain anything with the full line you provided. when i shortened the line, thats when i got the one i mentioned, with a different ending to yours. it searches thru most well known songs. i've used site before as i'm oneof those people who can never remember the song, only the words so find it really handy when i'm looking for music

Yes, done by many artists, most famous version by Frank Sinatra.

The Sex Pistols cover is my personal favorite, tho'.
