Attractive power theory - Rape Board

Hi all,

Do you believe in this theory that says two extremely different people can be attracted by each other ? My dad is a rude and direct person, and my mom is the complete opposite, she is a sweet and thought-out woman. They met one day, got married.....they threw a lot of plates at each other over the years, but they never divorced, and their marriage is finally a success....

I guess after a while, they got paper plates.

Warning, the surgeon general has determined that getting hit over the head with ceramic plates is harmful to your cranium.

No, I don't think so. And I think a lot of married couples have made each other very miserable trying to live up to the expectation of attracing even though they're opposites.
