I see Turkey do well against the moderate teams than the big teams,in world cup 2002 they beat China,Jaban,Senegal and S.Korea although they took two loses from Brazil,and in this Euro they losed for Portugal and defeated Switzerland and Czech.

Turkey 1 - 1 Croatia
(3 - 1) PK

Turkey did it again and backed to the match by the draw goal after only one minute from the Croatians goal,I though the match finished after Klasnic goal
case of big mistake from Rustu at 119’ before only one minute from the end but the Turkish did it for the third time in this Euro and got the draw by Senturk,and in the penalties the Turkish beat the Croatians and sent them off this Euro and destroyed Bilic's dreams.

Turkey will face Germany in the semi-finals and I think Germany will win as Turkey doesn't play well against the big teams,also the Turkish got their target by getting a place in the golden square of this Euro.

After the match of Turkey-Croatia yesterday the Turkish coach Fatih said they already attain their target by getting a place in the semi-final but no one don't like for more,I think the Turkish won't beat Germany but if they did it I think they will won the cup.

This team if Turkey isn't less than the golden team of Turkey "world cup 2002",Hakan Sukur,Hasan Sas,Umit Davala,Alpay,Umit Ozat,Korkomaz,Rustu,Basturk and Emre Belezoglu were in 2002 and were better than the team of this Euro but the Turkish team of this Euro is adamant!

ALRIGHT Russia, trounced the Dutch and into the semi's. I havn't watched a single match as it's not really my sport but I want Russia to win. Have they ever won it before??

Netherlands 1 - 3 Russia

It's the biggest surprise in this Euro until now,we can't name the victory of Turkey yesterday is a surprise as Croatia isn't a big team and the two teams are near from each others.
The Russian team who hasn't famous players beat Holland who beat Italy and France by the three and four plus defeating Romania by the substitutes.
Russian was better in the all time of the match and the Russians imposed their way in the most times,Archavin is the man of the match and I think he has a good future,also the Russians have a clever Dutch coach and he has a very big role in this victory.

Netherlands wasn't the Netherlands who beat Italy and France,and it seems that Khaled Bouhlarouz was the best man in the Dutch defence,when he wasn't in the form cause the death of his newborn daughter the Dutch defence was very weak,but I think even if Bouhlarouz wasn't in form he is better than Heitinga who couldn't deal with the Russians.
also I think the coach Van Basten was hasty in changing Kuyt and Bouhlarouz,Kuyt is very good in ball controling and shooting by leg or head,but maybe Van Basten was sure that he will win.

Well, I must say that the biggest surprise for me would be to see Spain having its way to the semifinals. I think that statistically the Netherlands didn't have so many chances: only one team has been able to make it through the final without losing a match (France) and even if statistics are just numbers you can notice they work out somehow. Anyway, Russia has shown some great football during the qualifying and England can tell about it. Now, let's see what is going to happen since they have lost two fundamental players for next match. I'd like Spain to defeat Italy or better say the 22nd of June which seems to be a black cat for them. Nevertheless, Germany stands out as the great favorite now that Croatia is out -Turkey is a very organized team but it bases its game on counterattacking and with the German air-force filling Turkish area of centers it seems to me a piece of cake. However, it is a semifinal and whatever can be expected. Italy and Spain, I'm looking forward to watching that game tomorrow.

I'm really disappointed that the Netherlands lost to Russia. I was really rooting for them. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for now...

I don't agree with this because Spain and Netherlands are a big teams and in this Euro they won their first three matches,so it isn't a surprise to see any of them in the semi-final,and as France did it before maybe any other team could do it also.
maybe Netherlands wasn't have many chances before the beginning of this Euro but after defeating Italy and France 3-0,4-1 by wonderful playing their chances for the cup were high.
I hope Spain could beat Italy today,Spain is better but Italy is lucky.

Spain did it , The Spanish broke his bad luck in the quarter-finals and broke the good luck of Italy,Spain was better but the old coach Aragones was near from giving the win to Italy when he changed Torres by Guiza,Torres was good and annoyed the Italian defence by his speed and strength,however I don't see Guiza should play in this match even he don't deserve to be in the list,Spain has many forwards better than him.

I think Italy was playing to reach the penalties as they thought they are better but Casillas was there and he frustrated their shoots in the match and their shoots in the penalties,I think he will be the best goalkeeper in this Euro.

Now we know the four teams of the semi-final.
Germany VS Turkey
Spain VS Russia

Now Spain has passes a quarter final for the first time in 24 years.
I think, no, I´m sure we shall win the Euro.
Ezz, Dani Güiza is the higher scorer in last Spanish Liga, so he is listed by Luis Aragonés for that reason.
And Raul, top scorer ever for Spanish selection, has had troubles with Luis. That´s a polite way of saying why he is not in the Euro.
Anyway with or without Raul we are going to win.
Russia is not going to be so easy to win as in the group fase, but we´ll succeed.

I know Dani Güiza is the higher scorer in last Spanish league but I mean Torres wasn't bad and also there is a gap between him and this Güiza even if Güiza is the scorer in la Liga.
also I don't think because he is the scorer of the league he must play in the national team,he is lucky that I'm not and won't be the coach of Spain.

But I know as you a fan of Atletico de Madrid you don't like Real Madrid and his players,but honestly Raul is better than Güiza,but if Aragones don't like him he don't have to play by Güiza,just keep Villa and Torres as they aren't have any injury.
But I wish if Guiza played in the final because he will rest the defence of Germany or even Turkey.

But man, I was supriresed when I get back to internet and saw the results This championship is fucking unpredictable I even don't care now we are out and the way we lost, cause a lot of great teams did it as well and that's sooo interesting. Russia won the first Euro in 1960 as the Soviet Union. They lose the next final in 1964. Guess who beat them?... Spain.

I don't think the final will be between them,I don't think Turkey could beat Germany in this match for several reasons,the Turkish bombards bereaved many of their power during their trip to the semi-final,they will play without Arda Turan, Emre Asik, Tuncay, Volkan Demirel, Nihat, Emre Gungor, Servet, Tumer and Emre Belozoglu.
and the German team won't miss any player and I think the Germans are in their top now specialy after Italy and Holland went out.

The second match isn't easy to expect who will win,Russia better in speed,teamwork and stamina but Spain is better in technique, and Spain has a better defence,goalkeeper and forwards,but Russia has Arshavin who can do any thing at any time,he didn't play in the first match and maybe for this Spain won by the four.

Well guys, it seems to me that everyone has set Germany and Spain in the final. Of course, that is a very logical choice. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be that sure even though you can perceive what a great team means: excellent staff basically! Turkey has no bench -they are even thinking in using the second goalkeeper in a different position if required- and Russia lost a couple of their top players for the semifinal -they have no one to substitute their excellent suspended defender-. On the other hand, Germany and Spain have no problems related to injuries or suspended players and even if they had them, they've got top players on the bench -specially Spain, for me it is hard to believe that Fabregas is on the bench-.

Anyway, I just wonder if Turkey's heart and Russia's serendipity could be enough to overcome the logical patterns of football. We'll know it soon.

Today The German machines will face the Turkish bombards,I think by 90% Germany will win,and if this happened I think the cup will travel to Germany in 29 of this mothe.
The Turkish have many problems and they will miss many players in the same position,and as leopolis said the coach of Turkey Fatih was training his thired goalkeeper Zengin in the last days to play in the position of the stopper!
