You can see Czech is better but I see in this Euro Czech isn't better than Turkey,even in the last two matches I can say Turkey were better than Czech,and Czech miss a good midfielder like Rosicky and Nedved,Turkey miss a good stricker like Hakan Sukur and Halil Altintop.
But Czech has a good keeper like Cech and good defenders like Ujfalusi and Jankulovski,and Turkey also has a good keeper Volkan "he isn't like Cech but he was good in the two matches" and has a good defenders also like Servet,Hakan and Altintop"even if he play better in midfield".

Honestly I see they are equal and I expect their match will end by the penalty kicks.

Croatia won against Germany 2:1! Great play by our team, and now we are in quaterfinals as first team in our group!

Congratulation to Croatia

It was quite fun. I work in company, which is partly German. And yesterday we were in Germany and watch the match with our German colegues. But we (Czech) were all on Croatian side, so it was like

"How do we play?"
"We lead 2 : 0!"



Pity the next match was a draw. I believed from the beggining that Poland can go further. Well, still can. Austria is playing very nice offensive football and may take some points from Germany. Austria deserves at least one for they play on this championship. And maybe Poland can beat Croatia and that's it

We will see how this group will end. Any of the the three teams can go further. But Germany of course has it in its own hands. Good luck to all of you!

Germany 1 - 2 Croatia
Austria 1 - 1 Poland

It seems Croatia play better against the big teams,Croatia played good match and the most German players weren't in their form but the referee helped Croatia in many decisions,the Germans were playing against Croatia and the referee,so surely it was a hard match for them.and he is the worest referee until now

In the second match the draw was fair,the two teams don't deserve to cross to the next round,but the polish kepeer Boruc was very good.

You are right that it was very offensive match from both sides but this doesn't mean any of them deserve to be in the next stage,also the draw wasn't good for any of them and this which made them played an offensive match.
and I don't think any of them is better than Germany and you will see this in the next matches.

Italy 1 - 1 Romania
France 1 - 4 Netherlands

Romania proved she won't be the easy team for any one,Italy seems she has some problems in scoring goals and also in the defence,and Romania has a good chance now to go with Netherlands even if she lose in the last match by not more than 2 goals!

The next match was another surprise from Netherlands by another big score and against another big team,the Dutch team is wonderful and they have a big chance to get the cup if they could keep this good form to the end.
but France has a big problem and it's their coach Raymond Domenech,I don't know why he didn't play by Benzema and Anelka from the start of the match,even Benzema didn't play in the second half,also I don't know what's he see in Gomis to give him the chance for the next time although there are who better than him.

And now the match of France-Italy will be very very exciting.

Spain 2 - 1 Sweden
Greece 0 - 1 Russia

Spain won by the killing goal of Villa in the lost time and by this Spain will be in the next stage and this is what many people had expected,Torres and Villa are making a very strong attack which could score at any time,but also Sweden is a good team and played a good match,maybe if Ibrahimovic were fit 100% and completed the match maybe the result would change.

In the next match Russia won and sent Greece out of this Euro after getting the second lose in the second match,Russia was better and deserved the winning and Greece should try to change some players,and as I said before the beginning of this Euro the Greece is less than the other teams of her group and they aren't the team of 2004, Russia now has 3 points as Sweden and the next match of them will be very exciting but the draw will send Russia out.

Turkey 3 - 2 Czech
Switzerland 2 - 0 Portugal

It's the best match in this Euro until now,Turkey defeated Czech and scored three goals in Cech,one of them was his fault but we can't blame him for the other goals,and for the second time Turkey back to the match after losing and scored the draw goal then the winning goal,and as I expected before Turkey with Portugal in the second stage.

Czech was better in the beginning of the match but after the Turkish coach Fatih Terim put Hamid Altintop in the midfield the team became better in the all second half,Hamid Altintop,Arda,Servet and Nihat were excellent,and maybe Sionko and Koller were good although I don't know why the coach of Czech didn't play by Baros in the second half,he would tried the Turkish defence and prevent them to go ahead.

Czech should search for young stars and give them the chance,Turkey did that and present good young players like Arda,Kazim and Sabri,this Turkish team make me remeber the team of Euro 2000 and then they get the third place in the world cup 2002.
But Czech also played a good match and they were near from the next round or even the penalties but this is the football.

I didn't see the next match of Portugal-Switzerland but I saw some of it and the goals,Switzerland wasn't like to leave this Euro at her home without making any thing for theri fans and also their coach,also it seems that Portugal is a normal team without Ronaldo.

Man, nobody should ever loose the match this way. I we should loose, it is much better to be worse, not to score a goal or make some terrible mistake. This was hard ... and I mean really HARD When we were winning 2 : 0 I thought it is done. I was hapy and we had some confortable conversation with friends. And then it started - from the first Turkey goal only one team was playing. I could not believe my eyes

Well, this is football. Big congratulations to Turkey - if it was not us, I would say it was great match. I love those with big story. I lost a part of sense of my life these days, it'll be hard to recover ... but I am back at work, back into normal life and I can enjoy the rest of the Euro without emotions. Hope there will be more matches like this one
