Well it looks like the rat finally got to my thread. I know it's the rat because only my rapeboard links have been deleted and the uploads that I did for a planned update are still active. But I'm sure if I post them in this thread they will "mysteriously" get reported so I'm not even going to post them.

I believe in sharing and receiving and right now the mainstream movie category on rapeboard is pretty much dead. In fact when you think about mainstream movies on rapeboard it pretty much reads like an obituary.

Zodiac's thread is gone
Phoggy's thread is basically gone
Debaser's thread is gone
Lucifer's thread is gone
Frenchy's thread was steaming along, but because he named it "classic" movies I thought that he was posting old movies and didn't get to it till late. In the past getting to a thread late wouldn't have mattered, but now it means that I got fucked out of some mainstream gems.

There are some more people posting mainstream vids but there often mixed in with porno or have bad thread titles so I get to them late. And in today's "rat era" of the rapeboard we all know that getting to a thread late means jacking to nothing but screencaps. So the mainstream aspect of rapeboard has taken a major hit and I love mainstream vids.

So with that said, I'm outta here. I'm taking it back ol'school. I going to continue to stock pile scenes like I used to and when rapeboard returns to full power I'll be back.

For now, LurkerTurnedPoster is going back to Lurking.

P.S. - Rat you haven't won, I'm still finding new movies and ripping them. And there going to get on the internet whether you like it or not, I'm just taking a little break for now...

I came way too late to this party and missed ALL the mainstream threads, including ALL of Lurker's great posts, so I can say I'm a very unhappy camper.

I'm not very experienced on these boards, but I'm wondering why people use Rapidshare so much if Rapidshare has a history of deleting so many posts?

Why not simply use other services such as Megaupload? From what I've seen, posts tend to live much longer on Megaupload without being deleted- am I wrong? I've found Russian upload sites where I doubt ANY POSTS ever get deleted - why not post to sites like that instead of Rapidshare?

it really does suck that these things are being reported so quickly. The experience is being completely ruined. Just my 2 cents, is it true that there are companies out there that make money by reporting links to pirated movies and music. If that's the case, is ripping and posting some sort of movie an act of piracy?

Why aren't folks who downloaded Lurker's vids before they were deleted volunteering to each repost 1 video to another upload service - MegaUplload, Mediafire, whatever - so folks who were too late can also benefit from Lurker's efforts ?
