Isn't rape bad?

Hi everyone, I'm new here I've always had fantasies of rape when I was young, even before I really knew what sex was in the first place. While I'm really glad to have found a website that kinda shares my Sorta fucked up fantasy, I can't help but feel real guilty about it.

I know there have been some threads on this already, but is it really okay to perpetuate this kind of fantasy? It is my favourite by far, but all this stuff like porn (that which is also my guilty pleasure) that replicates these images where women are being hurt might be damaging to the idea of rape (or how I see it, in some ways belittling actual rape) regardless if it is acted out or not.

I don't mean to disparage anyone here that like their roleplay or discussion of their fantasies, I actually think the community here is very sincere especially towards victims of actual rape, and that's the reason why I want to ask if anyone else beat themselves up about their thoughts? I'm just think I'm a massive sicko sometimes for liking the things that I do but I'm happy at least to find people who think the same way

I will admit that there's every once in a while that I do think I might be a little fucked up in the head. For instance I read a news article that talked about this american girl who was captured by some IS general and was forced to marry him, it was confirmed that before she died he raped her repeatedly. This is a horrible story, but a part of me wondered what it would've been like to actually do it, and I found myself getting off on the idea.
I think the key point here is that we're not actual rapists (I'm hoping I can speak for everyone here). We have fantasies and we like the idea, but the difference (at least for me) is that I'd never do that to a person in real life. I think it's okay, as long as you don't actually do it for real. After all, you don't go to prison because you think about something.

I have absolutely no fucking problem whatsoever with the way I think. I'll add though, outside of the real rape thread, which seems to have disappeared from view, any discussion of real life rape is banned here, so I'm struggling to see how "the community here" has any sort of attitude towards real rape at all, let alone a "sincere" one, what ever the fuck that is supposed to mean.

My own attitude towards real rape, as far as "the community here" is concerned, is that it is a complete irrelevance.

I've known the guilt, the feelings of self hatred, to the point of being suicidal.

One thing that really helped me was realizing alot of women have rape fantasies, it made me feel less like a monster.

The pain, the lack of understanding of these dark scary desires within myself, for years ironically made me a more compassionate person.

I believe in my heart that for some people, like myself, elements of BDSM, most specifically Dominance and Submission are innate, I concider them to be sexual orientations, abit non gender based, and they're is actually science to back this up.

I've been mocked before, even on this site, but I've done the research and I know they're others who feel the same way, feel it in the core of they're being, and so I've began pushing for recognition of the of BDSM a sexual orientation, or more acurately a mixture of sexual orientations and practices.

There are people out there who are suffering because they have desires they don't understand, that make them feel guilty, or unsatified with they sex lives, or confused, or self hatred, or even simply how to approach it safely.

We've seen the results of 50 Shades of Grey, good and bad, and some in the BDSM community blame the book unfairly, but the truth is is that its just a fantasy, the true fault is in the education system, young people need guidance who have these sexual orientations, and even people who don't, but enjoy the life style, need to know its completely natural and ways to explore it safely.

Yes rotter, I have and if any moderators have a problem with the content of this thread I wouldn't argue if they wanted to remove it and or send me a PM as a warning. I understand that the rules state that it is against the rules to include pictures or videos of actual rape so excuse me if I have broken the rules somewhat by mentioning real rape as how it is treated and the degree of humility that other user show to actual victims. While I feel this is not a subject that should be discussed in this fashion here. IT doesn't cross the line.................YET.

Anything bordering on real/fantasy will be monitored.

And for the record the educational system isn't responsible for teaching your children sexual education/orientation that is your job as a parent.

To rephrase my original post, I didn't mean that people on this forum thought rape was okay, I just mean that the attitude towards actual victims was very sympathetic and that people were respectful of the difference between fantasy and reality. I didn't mean to confuse anybody or walk the line between the rules.

Threads with the topic of guilt over rape fantasies have run on RB before and it is a legitimate topic for a board such as ours. My own personal thoughts are that we shouldn't feel guilty over the fantasy of rape because it is a fantasy and not real rape. Murder is abhorrent, the ultimate crime! However, do we feel guilty over enjoying action movies, murder mysteries and slasher films and the like? Most people don't and we shouldn't feel guilty over enjoying the fantasy of an illegal and abhorrent act.

That's a good point. I used to have problems with constantly feeling guilty about my fantasies (being raised a christian will do that to you). I think it is an excellent point in that we shouldn't be ashamed of what type of fantasy makes us tick, even if society looks down on it (except japan, where rape is mainstream in their porn). Gotta love them japanese and their hentai and rape porn.

This all day long, excellent points.

You go to the cinema and watch the latest horror movie..it doesn't mean you want to go out and butcher someone, it's the same with the rape fantasy as that's all it is - a fantasy, should you act on it then it's a different story, if you don't then as Bremen rightly points out you can't go to prison for thoughts in your head.

It's a kink that many people don't understand or want to understand and if you tell them you are vilified for it, yet those same people will happily watch a murder movie or a film containing violent graphic sex scenes and think nothing of it.

I am completely comfortable with my thoughts and fantasies and always have been, I don't pay attention to people who think I have " Something wrong with me " - why should I? LOL, they are my thoughts and fantasies not theirs, I don't accuse them or question them for eyeing up a man and wondering if he's good in bed..I just look at the same man and wonder how he'd tie me up, beat me and subject me to a brutal sadistic rape, it's what gets me off and there's no shame in that at all.

I never suggested there was a rule violation, I was pointing out what the rule was.

I also think the original poster has failed to realise that "the community here" can speak for themselves, and it is foolish to lump the attitudes of one and all in to a category of sincerity! Or of sympathy. Whatever the topic, banned or otherwise. Especially when they haven't even had the opportunity to meet "the community here". Personally, writing with all sincerity, all the horrible things that happen to other people can keep on happening, so long as they don't start happening to me, and the very small handful of people in the world I actually give a shit about.

Perhaps "the community here" thinks I should cut the original poster some slack, given the lack of traffic here these days. After all, it is refreshing to read an introductory post from a new member that isn't a request to know how we would all like to rape his wife. Whilst it is a thoughtful question, the "the community here" bit in a sense is as bad as the wife rape idiots, because it assumes we have a hive mind. Many of us could not give a flying fuck about some other mans wife. So you see, I can't be insincere and gushing in my welcome.

To the original poster, I have nothing against you, I just write what is on my mind. You'll find in time that "the individuals here" have a very varied attitude to a very varied number of topics.
