Scorpion is also worth seeing for being a obvious influence on Kill Bill (2004). The scene where the Bride first wakes up and

kills Buck is very much in the spirit of Female Prisoner 701: Scorpion, though Tarantino luckily doesn't wallow in the nasty

stuff the way the Scorpion movies do. Once Nami escapes and starts her killing spree, her victim's faces are flooded with

green light when they recognize her, another obvious influence on Kill Bill, and a song from Scorpion is used in the more

recent film.
