I tacked up the last flyer and looked at the bold print: ROOMMATE NEEDED

Rent had become so pricey, I simply couldn't afford it by myself. I decided last week that it'd be best if I found someone to share the costs with. But noot just anyone. This person had to be well-mannered, organized, clean, charming, and employed, male or female.

I walked back to the apartment with an opptomistic grin on my face. Maybe someone would show up minutes after I got in. I stepped into the building, got into the elavator (checked out my reflection in the reflective walls), and as the doors opened, hopped out and made my way to the door.

I reached into my bag, searching for my keys.

I search a place for live but price are expensive here when I see this flyers I go on the adress and see a woman who search her keys good i think a room and a beautiful girl for same price "Hello excuse-me but i see your flyer and i am interest"

I looked up slowly, caught unaware. I have a habit of zoning out. I smiled politely.

"Hi. Cool. I'm Monique, do you want to check out the room?"

I finally found my keys and opened the door. I blushed a little as it creaked and gestured my possible roommie inside.

"It's about seventeen hundred a month, but if we split it that's like 850. It doesn't include cable or the phone service, but I haven't had either installed yet," I replied, scrunching my nose a little.

"Oh, and there's only one bed," I pointed to the back room "but I'll sleep on the sofa until we find a daybed or something."

"Excuse me?" I replied politely, I didn't quite understand what my new roommate had asked.

I scooted away, a little perturbed. I resisted the urge to set down a set of rules; things like, no breaking the bubble rule or looking at me in a sexual manner. I brushed off the feeling- I was probably over reacting.

"No that's fine. I'll just stick it out on the sofa. I'm small enough to fit comfortably."

I very quiet part of me wished I had gotten a girl roomie.

I froze for a moment, too shocked to come up with a witty reply. "Get your hand off of me. I don't even know you!"

I jerked away, scanning the room for my cellphone. Was I going to have to call the cops on my own roommate? I had imagined a different scenario when I had put up flyers.
