no, I don't believe it's a waste of money, if it's a service you really need more than just on occasion, then I see no problem paying for it.

Very interesting Catlin. I have tried a number of download tools and this definitely seems good - but I still have to evaluate it.

make sure you have a "live" link first . if it is a "dead" one ...

Thanks for the tool, I have a problem, though:
DLD seems to mess up the files - downloaded three rar-files, all three seem to be damaged ("archive in unknown format or damaged"). Also the actual file sizes exceed the projected sizes a little.

Any suggestions?
