Germans raping Russian women would be less historically accurate, because that kind of thing was much less common. The Germans severely punished their troops that were caught committing rape. There was also the whole racial angle about them not wanting to mix with Slavs. I'm not saying it never happened, just that it was extremely rare.

As for the story and as I posted earlier, the actual story or setting doesn't matter much to me as I like all of the kidnap/home invasion ones posted already. More of them would be just as acceptable to me as a historic setting, although I dislike Roman era settings.

Thanks for the ears reminder nylstmaskd, I hadn't considered that before but I will now. I'm still in hospital, the knee op was a success and already today the physiotherapist has been forcing me to do light bends and stuff. The staff are great and the whole experience has been less of an ordeal than I expected. The hospital food is good enough and we are allowed wine with dinner. They may keep me in an extra day until Wednesday, but that's cool with me.

To pass the time, Ive worked some more on the masks. I think I've cracked the issue of the transparent mask intersecting with the head, which was a big problem until now. Solving that makes it much easier to work with masks now and I will be able to make them look more realistic, fit over hair etc.
