I've watched the numbers fluctuate a bit but for the most part the results nseem to be around 3 to 1 against bangbull posts. MODS? What do you think? Is this a community or not?

This, or any board/forum would be utterly meaningless w/o it's members. So I would expect if the Mods care about the board they would act on how people feel about an issue.

Me too but I care about how things go here. It could easily all go to hell if no one gave a sh** about what was posted. You know that. yeah, i don't care much one way or the other, my connection sucks waaay too bad to watch any streaming videos so i have no idea of the quality of these vids, so as long as its not complete junk, and someone enjoys it, then it's a contribution to me. I'm find with them, but, if i had it my way threads with bangbull links would be labeled as such in the title of the thread. That way, like doggy said, you could just ignore them if you didn't want the links.

Gotta agree with snarkopo......If the mods say they don't care then that will be that.I think the point you (Doggy and others) are missing is that many of the links they post are vanilla.Not to mention that they will start a separate thread for each movie.Those are three things that were against board rules(vanilla,other site links,and starting one movie threads)

This section used to be about sharing our movies with each other.If no body gave a $h!t about what people were doing then this board would loose a big part of what makes it great.Thats members caring about the content.

There are hundreds of streaming sites.Do we want to flood the board with them?
It's not sharing.

Being new to this site it is the first I have seen Bangbull, I found it to be enjoyable, but agree with those who propose there being a special Thread for it’s posting. This would make it easier on those wishing to view them to find them and at the same time eliminate numerous Threads. Seems that would be the fairest solution for everyone on both sides of this controversy.

If someone who actually creates a "real" thread want's to take a moment to say" hey here's another source for relevant content" I certainly have no problem with that. But creating a thread that has absolutely nothing but links to a site anyone can do a search on is crap. Nothing else .

Well at this point I'm quite dissapointed. I would have thought someone (mod) would have weighed in my now. It's obvious from the poll results that the majority of us feel bangbull posts are bs. But they don't seem interested. I thought this was a community, web 2.0 if you will.

I'm thinking the mods probably have lives outside of a web forum, not to mention and will get to it when they get the chance. Have they ever not gotten to a subject that needed attention? Not since i have been active here. Just give em time.

To keep this on subject, i wasn't aware that a large amount of them are vanilla, that should stop immediately, as should single movie threads, imo.

i had to voice my opinion on this ....

i voted no in the poll . but that said i'm not totally against the links being posted as long as it's done right , ie ... content on topic , the member uses one thread and so on .

as for the board being the members ...

yes that is true , but the members aren't paying the bills here . it is the owner's site , they(him) just allow us to play in their playground . the mods are working for them(him) . the mods don't get paid , they do a thankless job to make the board better for us . and they do it as the owner wishes ...

i also want to say thank you to the owner , the mods (past and present) , finally the members that make this a great place to come and play ....

You're not wrong in what you say. But you can get webhosting for as little as $5/month and there are links here to paysites that probably generate a little income for the owner.
Not that I'm not appreciative for this board and the effort/expense the owner(s) encounter.
But as I said before, it's uselesss w/o a good user base.

but the main part of my post was saying that somebody thought of it . invested in their idea , got other people to help them make it work . they did things right , it grew into what it is today , one of the best places on the net IMHO .

You're right and I know I sometimes get impatient. I just really hate to see what i think is a bad trend snowball to the detriment of this board.

Oddly enough the "owner" or registrant for this domain is Elena Bekker in Belgorod
RU (Russia). This is public info so don't slam me for posting this. But seems hmmm. I don't know.. Maybe why there are all those links above to russian rape sites? . So yeah, Hats off to the owner for their selfless giving to us all. Not that's it's such a bad thing if someone with connections to all the russian rape websites wants to run a board that may help promote them. But just don't get all teary eyed at the thought someone is financing this site for the benefit of us all. Get real. Sorry but I don't quarter any BS. If it gets me banned for spilling the beans, Oh well. Lot's of other places for "content".

i don't know why you quoted my post with this , but ....

i never said they made the board for selfless reasons . and even if any of that is true , which btw i don't care anything about , what does it have to do with your posts up there "demamding" something be done , when you want it done ?
