A few weeks ago I read an article about a guy going through a neighborhood. He was posing as a doctor and was offering free breast exams to the women.

Yes he had women accepting the offer.

I wonder what other scams like that have others heard of?

One of the first movies I ever saw at a drive in, before I discovered what a drive in really was for, was Screw Balls.

There was a scene, where there was this dork posing as a doctor examining young girls tits.

Hollywood beat ya to it.

Gal4, checking out a doc's credentials is a sound idea - assuming that he gives you his real name! If I were going round doing gynae exams on female victims, the least I'd do is to assume the identity of a real gynaecologist. The identities on your website don't come with photos, so I could easily use your website to find out the identity of the local gynaecologist, and then say I'm him!

I thought about that, but every doctor comes with an AMA identification number and if pressed, you could ask him/or her.

a gay sexual offender who was on house arrest called up guys and pretended he was a radio show host....

he would tell them that they had won a prize and to go to his house to pick it up

once they guys got there he would tell them that they had to run around the yard naked before getting their prize.... to promote the radio show

by the way, three guys fell for it.... despite the fact that the convict had an ANKLE bracelet on!!!

In my hometown, police investigated a case where a man off the streets came in, stole some scrubs, and went to the maternity ward. He would drop in on women nursing their babies and give them instructions on how to properly nurse, all the time getting off on the free peep show.

Goes to show, you can go anywhere if you walk fast, look serious, and carry a clipboard.

But couldn't an imposter get hold of the real doc's AMA number? If I were to do it, I'd mock up a fake ID. I wouldn't have a clue what an American AMA doctor's ID is supposed to look like, and I'm sure most of the housewives being subjected to a grope wouldn't either.

And Rheostatic, there are lots of cases in the UK where some bloke turns up to a hospital wearing a suit, claims to be a locum (temporary doc) and never gets challenged by anyone, until something drastic happens!
