I heard the apartment door open then close as they left. I did not move for some time as I wanted to be sure they did not come back to rape me again. I stumbled out to the living room and picked what remained of my clothing they had torn off me. I picked up the dirty dishes and shoved them in the dishwasher hoping my mother would not notice so many dirty dishes in there. After locking the apartment door I went into my bathroom and took a shower trying to get their juices off me. I jumped at every noise I heard while taking the shower, fearing they had come back to attack me again. I have been afraid to take a shower whenever I am alone in the apartment since then.
