Finding new movies on this board - (see 1st post only) - Rape Board

Here is a simple way of finding new movies on this board, whilst avoiding all the spam posts:

Use the "Search this Forum" facility -> "Advanced Search" option.
Use the "Key word/s" value of http

Set "Find Posts from" to "Your Last Visit" and "and Newer"
(If like me you are in and out a couple of times a day, then the best option to use for "Find Posts from" is "Yesterday" and "and Newer")

Set "Show Results as" to "Posts".

If you are doing this for the first time, then click on "Save search preferences", so that you dont have to set up all the options each time. However, you still need to enter the "Key word/s" value of http

Click on "Search" and the posts displayed are the ones containing the new movies (well most of them, unless somebodys made a comment about them).

No more going through threads and then having to work through pointless pages of spam text. This search function will identify the new downloads.

GIVE IT A TRY.

For a more step, by step approach:

Select the option "Advanced Search" from "Search this Forum" - see screen above..

Set your search options as shown in the screen above, for the "Key Word(s)" to http

Set "Find Posts from" to "Your Last Visit" and "and Newer"

Set "Show Results as" -> Posts.
See screen above.

If this is the FIRST time that you are setting up the search, then click on "Save search preferences", so that the search function remembers your options (it will save you from having to set them up again).

Now click on the "Search" button. The resulting screen will show only the new downloads or requotes since you last logged in. The image above, shows the result of my search. Yours may run into pages.

Looking at "Sanitarium's" thread, if you click on "Exitus Intreuptus" (the post heading, highlighted in yellow - in the screen above), it will take you directly to his post and you will miss out all the "thx" (spam) posts.

I suggest you run this search when you first login to the board, and once again just before you leave, in order to pick up an new postings, since you have been logged in.

The next time you visit the board, you select "Search this Forum", followed by "Advanced" and type in "http" (without the quotes) for the "Key Word" , then click on "Search".

The method is not perfect, but it will identify new movie posts quickly. I suggest that you click on the post thread, and then use the back button to go back to your original search - or alternatively open the link in a new window. The only problem I have found is that if you have multiple pages, and you attempt to click on page 2 for example, the system issues a new search. So my other tip is to go straight to the last page of the search and then use the "Back" button in explorer or whatever browser you are using.

I like many others have got tired of the spamming posts on this board. For the newbies, a spam post is one that has a simple message such as "thx", "thank you" etc. We know that most of you are doing this, because you want to increase your post count, so that you can access the movies.

Unfortunately, it is a nightmare for existing board members as each spam post bumps (moves it to the top position on the board) the thread. So we end up wading through countless spam posts to find the original upload/movie - and most of the times, it has been deleted.

If you are going to make comments about a movie, make it constructive.
* Talk about the quality of it
* The content
* Comment on whether or not you would recommend it
* If you like the stuff and want more, by all means ask, the OP (original poster), may have more that they can post - OR - if you really, really like it, then say so. But dont post just to increase your post count.
* If you dont like it, thats fine, but make a constructive comment.
* If its been uploaded before and you know of a better quality vid, then post the link. Most OP's wont take offence.

Remember, your comments are being used by others to decide, whether or not to download that movie.

Dont - just say "thks" or "thank you", and give some reputation points to the OP and other posters, if you think their comments are valid or reply to them.

Its taken me ages, to re-edit all this, so I hope I get some + rep points as well. In the meantime keep bumping.
