I am from Germany and one of the stangest phenomenons of our dark past was the fact, that Hitlers most loyal and most fanatic supporters have been women. This might have had a lot of reasons, but I am quite sure that one of them was a femal fascination for symbols of authority (like uniforms) in general and for symbols of militarism and fascism in particular.

This was even the topic of a shocking movie in the Seventies ("The Night Porter"), where a femal surviver of a Nazi Death Camp falls in love (and begins a sado - masochistic relationship) with one of her guards 10 years after the war! The movie was directed by a woman!!

Our neo nazi groups also include a lot of young women.

So, here is my question: is this more a German phenomenon or do women have (rape)fantasies involving military and fascists also in countries with no such past?

an ex of mine did. I'm half german and she loved the idea of her being a servant to all these aryan guys. and it made her go mental whenever I spoke german to her during sex.

I was so close to hunting down an ss jacket and wearing it out with her one night, in the way that seems quite fashionable now.

i think it's kind of a universal thing.

i don't know what it is about nazi uniforms specifically, as opposed to just regular army uniforms...

...but for some reason, if i saw someone dressed up in a nazi uniform, i think i would melt.

Oh, and i used to be incredibly jealous of Eva Braun, too.

my grandfather was here in germany from the nazis. he didn't make through it but my father did. he never hates the germans but he tells me about this time and i feel very much sad. but i have fantasys about this also. not for neo-nazis only but for the real nazi time also. i feel very much strange for that some time.
but i like uniforms and militarys always, not german only!

pol pot makes Hitler look like a choir boy...I disagree strongly with you and I'm an avowed anti-communist Hitler killed far more in the camps alone than pol pot did and if you put the war casualties to paper...it's pol pot who looks like a piker
