No, by US Copyright Law all works are the intellectual property of their author the moment they are written, wether it's on a computer, paper or a chunk of cardboard you wrote on with a magic marker. Different countries have different copyright laws you know!

Naked blackmail isn't necessary. Possession of original copies is good, and putting the C with the circle around it with copyright and your name on anything you distrubute helps too. It aint exactly rocket science or astrophysics!

all I know is Ive put in an order for a stroke, because no fucking way am I going to be reduced to a neglected stiff skeleton sleeping in my own piss and shit in a nursing home not knowing wtf is happening aorund me

Im lucky because strokes run in the family

however, I wish I could live my life according to Dastardlys rules they sound GOOD

I am, myself, not afraid to die, but for the fact I selfishly want to see my kids grow up and lead happy lives and be part of it.

still there is some truth in what you say strokes like NDE can sometimes make the victim of them value all the good stuff in life a whole lot more and enable them to adjust their value system to better ones that get whats important and what isn't.

Lol, let me tell you a an amusing little tale, which will help to explain my two previous posts.
I had a stroke, or sometimes called a brain attack one morning in early March 2005. Suzanne and I had been chatting on and off for a few months on the internet, she lived in London and I live in the midlands, we met on a chat room with a similar theme to this site. After my stroke[I was 55 at the time], I was lying in a hospital bed, my left side paralyzed and numb, my teenage son had come to visit. I had been thinking about Suzanne and I didn't want her to think I had just wandered off somewhere into cyberspace as people are apt to do and asked my son to email her. Next thing I knew she was insisting on driving all the way up from London. I found it hard to understand why a woman would travel all that distance to just to see me, a man she had never met before 'in the flesh', so to speak. I was pretty nevous[and I know Suzanne was too], as she walked into the day room, where I was sat with a fellow sufferer. She came strait over to me and before we knew it we were kissing and hugging. I say hugging, but even though by then[and now] I had recovered most of the movement in my left arm, I still had little feeling in it, or my hand. So there we were, as I said, kissing and hugging, I stroked her back as we embraced and as we finaly broke apart I saw Suzanne glance down and I realised that my hand hadn't been on her back but her front. The whole time, without knowing I had been massaging her breast!
I guess thats one way to greet, huh.
