Crosby and the Pens would be smart to take his return slow and easy! Of course Pittsburgh has the luxury of a lot of talented centers do to high draft picks from stinking for about ten years there.
The Wings thankfully should be getting Datsyuk and Lidstrom and Howard back this week so hopefully the bleeding will stop!

I know I was surprised and excited. I thought they would play it safe til playoffs. I think Tanger is coming back too so yay!!! Though I do wonder how well we will do readjusting to having them back. We were just starting to really gel without them. Fuck it. I am still glad they are coming back so much so that I have been pestering S for tickets but I dont see him clearing his schedule on such short notice.

I imagine you were all kinds of excited! And I would imagine they're getting Crosby back in now so he can be in full playing condition by the time the playoffs roll around. Cool that you think Letang is coming back too!
Now I just need Datsyuk and Lidstrom to come back for the Red Wings because tonight's 5-2 loss to the Kings proves how much Detroit sucks balls with them!

I'm still in shock here, a losing streak against teams we should be crushing? The same thing is happening to the Wings but at least you can say Datsyuk and Lidstrom are out, we don't have any major injuries.

Losing streaks suck big time don't they? And losing to teams you should smash really sucks!
Unfortunately for the Wings the issue goes beyond just Datsyuk and Lidstrom being out! No Datsyuk totally change the dynamic of how the Wings play since he's the teams leader both offensively and defensively from the forward position and Lidstrom being gone means the offensive and defensive leader from the defenseman position is gone as well. However the Wings are also down two other starting defensemen in Ericsson and Kindle and its they guys playing in the place of Lidstrom, Ericsson and Kindle who keep making all the defensive mistakes that are killing the Wings the last couple of games while the offense without Datsyuk and Lidstrom has ground to a halt. UUUUUUGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

Ten in a row is a hell of a streak though I know it's not the Pittsburgh record! Detroit has never won ten in a row but has won nine in a row countless times and has to be content with the cosecutive road and home wins records and most wins in a season too
