Well the trade doesn't really effect the Canucks too much so I don't really care. We only play the Pens once a year and I think the same for Canes' so...meh. But good for Stall to get a top 2 centre position I guess, and I think there is another Stall on that team too? As long as they aren't twins we have nothing worry about...

I was more holding my breath to see what the Canuck Brass is doing about Lou and Schneider, might end up being a Maple Leaf it looks like according to all the media but who knows what goes through Gillis's mind.

Okay, I am officially pissed off at the Hall of Fame Selection Committee! Selecting Pavel Bure, Adam Oates and Matts Sundin and not selecting Brendan Shannahan! SERIOUSLY?!!!!!! Shannahan has more goals than even Joe Sakic who of course deserved to be selected and more Stanley Cups than the four players who were selected combined!!!!!!!!!

Well so far the Wings have made some good free agent signings with Samauelson and Tootoo and Gustavson and Brenner by still waiting to see where Parise and Suter decide they'll go! I must say, I enjoyed going to a game when I visited the USA during business trips, it is by far more spectacle than boring base ball

Hockey is a beautiful thing. Baseball is boring as hell, but going to a live game is better, especially as pirate tickets are still dirt heap and they are actually doing well. PNC park is beautiful and the all you can eat teats are only 30 bucks right now. (not including water or beer, but does include soda)

I wasn't to awful bummed about Parise and Sutter, Shero said it best. There wasn't anyone else of their caliber out there that we wanted, so waiting for them didn't really hurt us, as we weren't looking for anyone else.

“We have Fleury up in three years, Malkin up in two years, Letang up in two years,” Shero said. “Every team has to look at those snap shots and try to balance that salary cap as best they can.”
