Short hair is appealing usually when it is styled. For one thing, this indicates that the girl is attentive to her looks and invests time and effort to being attractive and feminine. But it must be, for me, soft and fluid, and have movement. I love it when large curls or generous waves fall from the side and temple area of her head, across her face and eyes. Very sexy--think Lauren Bacall!

I'll date myself, but one style I sure like the "flip"--down to her neck, or the top of her shoulders, and a half-curl out. Also nice is a page-boy that's not too short, curling in about the neck and shoulders.

The longer the better. Why use rope or belts when you have her own hair to use against her? Pulling on it is ok, but I think most every woman in the western world has had that done to her. I think it really depends on the woman. Some women look really sexy with shorter hair while others look great with theirs longer. I'm an equal oppurtunity kind of guy so either way will work for me.
