Stop the thanking - Rape Board

Do we have to thank everytime someone does something? Can't we simply give one big collective "THANK YOU" and be done with it?

I get it. Whoever posted something is awesome, great, and loved the post. Now, can we stop this and get on to just posting movies and requests?

these kind of post are becoming a spam by themselves , i've seen more than the necessary taking in count that there is a sticky thread made by the moderators on the top of the page

As a child and on through my life (I am nearly 66) I was brought up to be polite and to thank anyone who did me a service, no matter how small or large. The fact that I can download a movie that I want from a person generous enough to make it available to me certainly qualifies for thanks and I will always do so. I will never stop being polite and grateful.

A lot of it is just people trying to boost their post count so they can get more restricted videos.

Yea thats the only reason Im typing to say thanks =/, although i am very appreciative of all the uploaders efforts, i just wouldnt be spamming thanks every time if i didnt have to up my posts, even this post, im just typing this to up my posts.

We should thank the uploaders they really deserved this. Even I don't post movies I really understand them. Posting vids are like hell you need a LOT of time for this.

However if you really wanted to thank you MEANT it not do it just for spamming. That's what I think

I'm with batffink on this one ( although I'm still a couple of years short of 66

)

I've even got rep from people who appreciate the thanks, so it's not wasted effort and takes almost no time at all compared with their time to upload something for us.

I think so, unfortunately my english level doesnÂ´t reach to write too much, if my sincerely thanks is considerated spamm I wonÂ´t ever reach minimum post to see new vids.

How about the moderators come up with a completely seperate thread for people to go if they want to post meaningless nonsense in order to increase their post numbers? Then the normal people who say thanks when they really mean it can keep doing what they've always done, and the people putting up the links can be assured that the feedback they are getting in their own threads is genuine.
