I saw the replay as well, I will play a bit of devils advocate here and say it was a borderline hit in my opinion. But I am disapointed Shanny didn't even hold a hearing on the hit. Even with hits that are iffy like this he should contact both parties and get their take on what happened.

In other news, Canucks remain on top after such a painfully boring game against the Blues. Next up Ehrhoff, Cody Hodgson and the Sabres. Trying to get tickets to the game, fingers crossed!

And advocate all you want. It was an unecessary hit that that targeted the head. Even if it had been one of your Canucks I would have deemed it a bad hit. So just cause it was my beloved Tanger, who I am irrevocably in lust with, is not why I was pissed about it. That just made me angrier. He could have just engaged him in a good old fashioned brawl and I would have been okay with that. I guess it especially chapped my ass because Letang just came back from a concussion hiatus. We in PIttsburgh are fed up with concussions... cant imagine why...

On a positive note the Wings pounded the Minnesota Mild earlier today 6-0 even without Pavel Datsyuk and Lidstrom!

It was a good win and a sound stomping of Minnesota and I've always thought Mild was a much more appropriate team name for them!

I know. And they neutered the Cooke Monster so we cant even retaliate effectively. Though what a damned good player he has shown himself to be. At least Orp still hits like a freight train. And Engelland will scrap with anyone.. hell Malkin will scrap with anyone too... Yeah I still like my team. Bad luck and all.

I am not sure whats worse, late games or early games. I hate when I have to be drinking by 1pm to watch the game, the rest of the day is a total write off after that point.

I have a friend that lives in Canada.. she has bagged milk so I pick on her whenever possible. She put her in a pitcher which makes so much more sense than leaving it in the bag.
