Ok people. Various posts have inspired me to post my first thread on the site.

I have always had tendencies toward this kind of fantasy material for as long as I can remember. But for me it kinda gelled watching old cop shows on tv. Especially 70's era shows. There was hardly a night that went by that at least one of them didn't have a rape themed show.

So for a kid who didn't have access to the movies of the day or much of any other outlet these shows set the tone for many of my early fantasies.

I do not think they created the desire. But they sure helped mold it into something tangible that I could understand. Laying on the floor face just a few feet away from the big old console tv we had. Sometimes it was hard to keep just how excited I was watching the victim of the night get assaulted-from my family. I think some of those old shows had some really good scenes to. They couldn't show any real sex unlike today. So they had to rely on actresses who could really make you feel like you were there and that they were really being violently humiliated.

Anyway--The question-- Finally.

What has influenced your rape fantasies over the years. Media? Stories someone told you. Whatever.

And if you can remember the first thing that ever inspired you to have a rape fantasy that would be great to hear about.

Ah, those wonderful formative years. For me, they were the early 60s. I found the seedy tobacco stores, which had a rack (at least) of pulp detective magazines. The stories were never quite as salacious or explicitly violent as the cover art, but I squeezed them for as much suggestive material as I could! In addition to my rape fantasy, they also helped nurture (ulp!) my fascination with violence, rough sex, and sadism.

Horror films started getting more explicit then. Pretty tame compared to what's produced now, but overt plots of sexual and supernatural predators started appearing. I spent lots of hours putting up with "B" movie plots (and acting, whew!) to get to a mere one or three minutes of virginal gossamer-clad damsel running through the castle, woods, meadows (whatever), trying to escape some fiend or goon.

Hmm.. interesting topic.

For me personally there are so many influences that have led to me being the way I am and feeling the way I do. Its more to do with people's actions or the way I feel about those actions than any media, although obviously the media serve to stimulate and expand those original influences.

The key influence as to why I am here is my father I suppose, and I have some experience in real life incest/grooming. However as for all the things I think and write about, for instance brother-sister, thats purely an expansion of the original influence.

I don't know if that makes sense or is on topic

But yes, I would say people's actions are the biggest influences. Even the smallest action such as a teacher looking at a student suggestively could spark my imagination.

Silly as it sounds, Rocky Horror Picture Show was a big shove out of vanilla world into realizing what a broad range of sexual interests are available in this huge wierd world of ours. Rape fantasy is just one of my favorites, and I think in large part the thrill for me is forcing a violent reaction out of my victim. Well for me it was horror comics were you would see women half naked being attacked by a monster,it made me wonder what were they going to do with them.Then after you read the story the mind kicks in and you think what would have happened if it wanted to have sex with them,there was an old movie from the late 50's called mars wants women,and it was all about spaceman needing earth women for sex.It really does not take much for a young mind to run wild with thoughts of sex,when it's everywhere.

What caused me to have rape fantasies.....I've wondered about that for years. I've had them as long as I can remember.

I've come to the conclusion that it's just part of human nature. In a pre-technological society, males who commit rape when the opportunity to safely do it arises would produce more offspring than those who don't, therefore natural selection would reinforce the impulse. Chimpanzees and orangutans rape. It's natural that we have the impulse, even if in reality we have to refrain from acting on it it to avoid disrupting our social groups. The real question, then, is why some men seem not to have these fantasies. Personally I think they're suppressing them (possibly at a preconscious level, so there's nothing dishonest about them saying they don't think of such things).

As for what influences the character of rape fantasies, gives them their themes and details -- for me it's always been scenes encountered in novels and movies, stories and anecdotes -- including here. There's nothing like a good episode like that to give me a new idea, though I tend to end up imagining myself in the scenario, with women I know as victims.

Alot of it orignated in my past life. It just was. Nothing in particular created it but it has influenced it. They would never consider acting on these impulses but now you can not even admit to thinking about them.
