The fact that the actress was over the age of 18 was not disputed; they brought charges based solely on the fact that the actress was portraying a character who was underage. Five video titles and the office's computer servers were seized, ostensibly for research toward a federal obscenity indictment or a charge related to the 2257 record-keeping law.

In the execution of the search warrant, one officer accidentally discharged their weapon into the floor of an upstairs office, as the housekeeper was being detained below. No one was injured.

In response to this action, Hardcore released the following statement:

"Once again, the government is wasting tax dollars and otherwise invaluable law enforcement resources to try to force a minority view of morality on all of America. Five of my movies have been targeted by the Federal Prude Patrol. There is no indication of any crime to be alleged except obscenity. If indicted, I will fight to protect my liberty, as well as the liberty of consenting adults to watch other adults engage in lawful, consensual, pleasurable sexual action. Shame on the Bush Department of Justice. I am proud of the movies I make and proud of those who buy and sell those movies."

In 2007 Paul F. Little and his company Max World Entertainment, Inc. were indicted by the United States Department of Justice Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section on 10 counts of federal obscenity charges relating to 5 movies showing fisting, urination and vomiting. Little was subsequently found guilty on all charges,and sentenced to 46 months in prison. Though the convictions have been appealed to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, Georgia, Little began serving his sentence on January 29, 2009.

The jury ordered the internet domain MaxHardcore.com to be forfeited but declined to forfeit Little's house.

Paul F. Little is prisoner number 44902-112 at The Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Los Angeles and due to be released 05-29-2012.

There was question about whether the scene, or atleast the latter part of it, was acting or real. She did say:"I have to stop..." at one point.

It's a funny thing but watching acted rape turns me on like you wouldn't believe. Watching rape that appears to be real (and I won't comment on whether I think this scene is real or not...you can judge for yourself) just turns my stomach.

I am suprised that no one has mentioned that Felicity chick from way back. I cant remember her real name just her stage name, she made a doco/film about being a adult actress. There was apparently a bit in it where she was introduced to Max, and she walked up to him with her hand out meaning to shake his hand and he just pushed her over a chair and started fucking her apparently. It suprised the fuck out of her and scared her too and apparently she wasn't too into it, but max kept going. I think she even tried to stop an at least take a breather and max wanted to keep going, and at that point the camera man realised that he was basically taping a rape and pulled her out of there. Something like that, so he has done that shit before. Ill have to find the article i found cause they apparently cut that out of the doco. But fuck, I wanna see that movie, I been looking for it for years. Surprise fucks are one of my favs.

There isn't much left to be said, but I suppose I may be able to clarify a few minor points.

Most bondage or S&M shoots do employ safe words and safe actions. You can't really count on the dialogue such as it is to indicate is the actress does or doesn't want to continue. That said most professionals are very sensitive to even the possability that the actress may have forgotten the safe options and will halt taping to verify that the actress is ok if her acting is too credible.

Personally I disagree with the court ruling for the very same reasons that many of you here already have stated. I do not believe that you can or should legislate morality and that seems to be what they were doing.

On the subject of using the US mail for a carrier. You should note that the sting agents requested to have the DVDs sent to a PO Box. The US Postal Service is the only carrier service legally allowed to deliver to PO Boxes. The distributor erred in accepting a PO Box for a shipping address. The production company should have specified in its contract with the distributor that only alternate carriers would be used.

Our country's puritan roots are showing. Making laws to keep people from being exposed to undesired materials is reasonable (and yet I still receive spam in my snail mail box every week). Preventing other people from acquiring said materials if they desire to seems considerably less reasonable. They'd been after him for years and they found their loophole. I believe he basically sent his European edit movies to the wrong states that prohinbited that sort of thing.
