I guess my pic does count,and i am a little uncomfortable with it being there,It does show alot more than i would like.Can children view pics though the guest features?If so Ntense's concerns are well justified,I'm a great believer in free speech,but children shouldn't be able to see everything on the net.

Ladies, quick test: log out, clear your cache, then browse the board. You'll show as one of the 100 or so 'guests', no special privileges. If you don't see the 'Welcome, (your name)' at the top right, you're a guest. If you don't clear your cache, you'll still show the pix from your last cached session. With IE it's [Tools] [Internet Options] [General tab] [Delete files] and don't click the 'Delete all offline content' if you have saved pages you want to keep!

When I did that, I went WHOOPS!!

I'm pretty sure it's something the mods and admin(s) have already discussed among themselves, so I'm probably beating a dead horse.

And yep, I'm an engineer but I'm *really* good with computers. 35 years of constant experience will do that to you.

Why, I recall back in the dark ages when we had to dial the local BBS at 150 baud just to trade a few 10K GIFs... where's my cane, grandma? {WHACK!} No, not that cane!

I browsed the forum as a guest, and I could see all the avatars and all posted pictures.

Though, to be honest, to your concerns about children... there is just no way to stop kids who are LOOKING for porn or explicit images from seeing them. Well, unless you are their parents, then it might be within reason. But what I'm getting at is you can goto google image search and type in "sex" and get tons of images, or any other word.
