Not too long ago they were warning us about an impending ice age. Then global warming. Now these "experts" just talk about "Global Climate Change."* Talk about hedging your bets!

National Socialism! Nuclear Holocost! Fire Ants! Plague! Locusts! World Communism! Creeping Socialism! Economic Meltdown! Fire and Ice!

Should it come, I can't do anything about it. And I refuse to pay attention to my so-called carbon footprint! So I'm just not worrying or paying any heed to these alarmists. They usually have some other agenda in mind, like the carbon "cap and trade" agenda which will make Goldman Sachs very rich!

No. Why?

Simply because none of the prophecies in question talk of the end of the world, simply a big cataclysmic event that will kill a lot, but not all of mankind. So worst case, our chances of survival are above zero. Good, let's move on.

Two main sources for the 2012 are the Mayans and Nostradamus. Unbeknown to most, Nostradamus has actually made a lot of prophecies. Most of them did NOT come true. The ones that "did" were were worded so vaguely that they could relate to anything. Nostradamus may have been a lot of things, but a prophet he was not.
Mayans on the other hand supposedly had a calendar that ended in the year 2012 and therefore predicted the end of the world on that day. There's no need here to go into how Mayans were actually an extremely primitive society whose advanced astronomical knowledge was in fact entirely pilfered from the "Sumerians of America", the Olmec, and was only used by the ruling caste to keep ignorant peasants in fear of celestial gods who would strike them down if they don't pay their taxes.
I'll simply point out the fact that the Mayan calendar was cyclic, so the end of the calendar is in fact also it's beginning. Predict doomsday? Definitely not.

So all you planning the storming of monasteries, take into account what the other inmates will be doing to you for the next 5-10 years

I have always found it near impossilble to take this 'End of the World' predictions seriously.

And have you noticed, the anti-Climate change lobby is more voracious in defending its self then the fucking Spanish Inquisition.

There was a documentry on tv in the UK a couple of years ago that basically said that global warming was bullshit...and this got in trouble with the regulators for being biased against global warming, yet...you never see in a climate change show them say, of course this might not be man made, and just be down to part of a natural weather cycle do you?

I believe that after every 3600 years there are cataclysmic changes in this earth. So what happened 3600 years before 2012 ? I googled 1600 BC and I was shocked to get this report.

If you are a student of History you will see that several Great Civilizations perished and disappeared around 1600 BC. Several powerful dynasties whose Rulers were akin to God to the ancient people were suddenly overthrown.

The last Records of the Xia Dynasty which preceded the Shang Dynasty is full of desperation and fear about climatic changes.

The Nebra Skydisk is a mute but ancient testimony to cataclysmic changes brought forth by celestial events.

Events and trends

From what I know is that we will be in eclipse with the galactic center which doesn't account for any astronomical anomaly. However, there are always some who will make a hill out of a molehill and a mountain of an anthill.

In Norway a Bunker has been built, a multi-billion dollar bunker, internationally built; where seeds of every living thing has now been amassed, this is no joke its real.

I do not know what is gonna happen, but looking back at 26,000 year intervals, just may send shivers down your spine, like it did mine, when i did some investigating. There is no-way period! to prevent this Dark Rift alignment from happening. Every Government on the planet knows this is happening, not a 1 is talking about it!!!:

If you are a student of History you will see that several Great Civilizations perished and disappeared around 1600 BC. Several powerful dynasties whose Rulers were akin to God to the ancient people were suddenly overthrown.

Almost all due to invasions of central Asian tribes, who gained power through their advances in military technology in that period (war chariots). For brevity, refered later in this post as CACW (Central Asian Chariot Warriors)

Most scholars agree Xia are a myth, most likely perpetuated by the Shang rulers for their own purposes.

Just to be clear, the mask in question did not belong to the fabled king Agamemnon.

* c. 1600 BC–1200 BC—Hittite (Anatolia) iron tools and weapons.

Some relate the Hittites to the Mitani civilization of today's northern Iraq, whose rulers were from the CACW tribes. Discovery of iron was probably incidental, brought on from the desperate search for the critical resource of all contemporary civilizations, copper ore. Which was running very low at this historic period. At a time when we're running low on the lifeblood of our own civilization (oil), we can only hope history repeats itself.

Yes, something indeed happened: an advance in military technology occurred in a region strategically positioned in close proximity to the riches of all great civilizations of that time, turning ragtag nomadic tribes into a fearsome war machine perfectly poised for an invasion and pillaging of the wealth of the civilized world.

Unless you show me a relation between the invention of the war chariot and the "Dark Rift", I am not gonna take any of your doomsday theories seriously. Especially since all those listed events indicate a change for the better, rather than worse.

I actually am a little worried about this. If the solar storm does short out all electronic circuits as some anticipate, I'll be out of a job. On the other hand, all the work now done by supercomputers will have to be done by hand for several years until the infrastructure is repaired. That's a serious opportunity for profit to those that prepare for it early!
