I can't remember now what the first rape scene was that I saw, but "Straw Dogs" with Susan George was certainly seminal to influencing my fantasy life. At the time it was groundbreaking and risky cinema .... and so hot! I think that's part of what caused so much controversy. I suspect too many self-styled censor types were turned on by what they saw and didn't like what they thought it implied about themselves. All I know, is that it left me short of breath with a raging boner, and been looking for more of the same ever since.
