Expression is important. So are different kinds of resistance and vocalizing. There should be variation, moments where frustration or humiliation breaks through, reaction to the gloating of the guy, etc. Many actresses are just not convincing. The Japanese are generally a lot better at this than the Russians. And actresses in mainstream movies will usually be much better, with the drawback that you won't get to see nearly as much.
