Which one are the most people using?

Yes, I'm too lazy to check. I prefer not to join up to every site on the internet and I'm also several versions old on java to keep compatible for work.

I was trying to use the chatshack one. Perhaps it's a version mismatch... I have the latest Sun Java (6u11) on Linux i686. Anyone else?

Does it have its own custom engine, or is it an IRC client, or what?

i don't know . i use windows and it installed a java thing i didn't have and at the time i had the newest version .

the CL one should work for everybody . anymore than that you'll have to ask a mod
