I ask myself too. Is the World map the same in australia, with europe in the middle? (i think yes because the GMT time is here)

I'll look at the toilet and let you know in which direction it spins...I'm pretty sure it's clockwise for everywhere in the world, though.

recently our moon was this gigantic orange orb, absolutely MASSIVE. If I ignored the sounds of cars I could imagine I was on a dragonlance planet

and NO there are not kangaroos bouncing down the streets (not the city ones anyway) and we dont all say gday mate or have corks hanging off our hats or wear tight khakis and call women sheilas, or like thugby or AFL or drive old holdens and eat meat pies while skulling 4x at cricket

was watching the Melbourne comedy festival the other night, freaking hilarious of course, and Wil Andersen suggested our flag be rid of the union jack and instead just be made up of all the flags of the world

No it's not. In the north hemisphere of the globe it spins the opposite direction from the south hemisphere. It's all about magnetic fields of the planet.

My best friend took off with this Tasmanian girl he met and they married and went to live in Hobart and they were frequently attacked by wombats, which I thought was really funny.

Anyway, you guys do have my favorite animal down there and though I was going to travel to South Africa to meet up with some specimens of said animal I may have to change my plans and make it Australia now that there's another reason to go there.

It has nothing to do with magnetic fields! It's just a myth that the Coriolis Effect affects water on a small scale (e.g. toilets or sinks).
