Mainstream underage Rape - Rape Board

Yep, I know the title is a bit hard.

But just wanted to discuss the folling subject.

I got a copy of - The Bastard out of Carolina -

Now for those who are aware of this movie u will know there is a very graphic rape scene at the end of the movie where the girl (12 - 15 yrs old) is raped by her mothers boyfriend, and yes the scene is very graphic concidering the age.

So my point is, if its ok for mainstream, then why is it not ok for posting on a rapeboard???

I have never posted the clip, and TBH it does discust me, but me being me I like a good discussin!!! so please let me know ur thoughts on this.

There has been such a big deal made about Hounddog (Dakota Fannin) and the scene isnt even shown???

So what are ur thougths????

The folling subject will not be discussed on Rape Board! The rule is the rule and if I was feeling mean you'd get a warning for this thread. Don't start this subject again!

Well, without starting a huge discussion I will answer your questions:

a) No, sometimes - in mainstream movies - the actress playing an underage rape victim is actually underage herself (or himself for that matter).

b) The difference is: A mainstream movie is supposed to have a storyline transmitting a message to the audience. It's not simple porn meant to entertain and sexually arouse people.
If that is actually the case, if some mainstream movies implement such scenes with the "secret" agenda to have exciting sexual elements - is of course a valid possibility.

Since the subject of rape (fantasy) however is a personal one, bound to have an effect on people a line has to be drawn somewhere.
The moderators have explained several times: The subject of underage rape has been discussed among us in great length and the majority of moderators and members (back then) has agreed to ban underage rape from RB.

Most of us don't enjoy watching a child being raped. Some members do and - objectively - I respect their point of view as well. Personally however I find it utterly repulsive.

Engaging in sex - so in any kind of rape fantasy as well - is a deliberate decision between consenting adults.
I do not wish to make a "better"/"worse"-distinction between the rape of a child and the rape of an adult but RB made a decision years ago. It still stands and I still support it.

To everyone interested in the subject of underage rape (porn): Let it rest!
If you really need to have it go find it somewhere else!
