Using any quality or quantity of words and getting inside someone's head, for instance, are merely "processes" that occur in the middle of an argument. There is no doubt in my mind that I've had people who have gotten into my head before (and it's their stupidity that did it). What matters the most, at least in my book, is being triumphant in the argument at the end.

It doesn't matter how much animosity is involved in an argument, it doesn't matter how many times people get into each other's head, and it doesn't matter how impressive they are in their words or sentence structures. You can put your effort into introducing these insignificant components as many times as you like, but if you can't win the argument, then nothing that you did matters, because I win and you lose and I've proven myself to be the better man and that settles it.







Well no shit Sherlock. The statement "I don't care" can be ambiguous because the ambiguity arises from the word "care". The word has many different meanings and there are countless events that can fit into the definition. I've given you which sense of the term that I was using and, to my astonishment, you finally acknowledged it.

I get the idea that there are people who act in contradictions to their words, by flapping their gums about how they don't care but in reality they care. That case does not apply to me and you know it.

Just because it is a distraction method does not mean that it will do anything to validate or invalidate the argument. It is a psychological tactic that is independent of the truth or credibility of an argument.

Yes I can argue without using insults. As much as I believe that most of you deserve to be insulted in some way, I have used considerably less insults than I have during the time before my six-month ban. I will still insult you whenever I damn well please, but my point is, for every post that I make that contains an insult, I can always re-phrase them in a way that it will not contain it.

Definition #1 does not apply, since I can endure and even manage to persevere in this argument.

Definition #2a does not apply, since I have done nothing to deny your freedom in expressing your views.

Definition #2b does not apply, because none of the issue here has anything to do with "social, political, or professional rights", and the word "bigoted" should be ignored since it is defined in terms of the word "intolerance", which is defined in terms of the word "bigoted" (i.e. circular definition means nothing).

Definition #3 relates to physiology and so it does not apply either.

The word "prejudice" also appears in the definition of the word "bigoted", but I've already given a rational argument about my anti-christianity views in the "jack-the-ripa" thread, hence there is no prejudice.

I'm not going to write another essay about this, but if you spend the time to review what all of you wrote (from the "jack-the-ripa" thread and this one), you'll manage to see that all of you are bigoted. Although this is the Rowdy Room this thread no longer serves any purpose except throwing insults at each other and it has lost its original topic long ago.

If you need to fight each other for personal reasons take it to a place where people care. If you have an actual argument to debate take it to the Idle Thread if you think you're capable of doing so in a mature way.

Our board is neither here to serve excessive egomaniac delusions nor to satisfy any urges to wage war over personal grudges.

You may provide me with - in your opinion - valid reasons to keep this thread running via PM if you feel the need to do so and eventually I can be persuaded to change my mind. Be adviced, should the thread be continued, these reasons will be posted here.
