He is, ezz, he married Stephanie in 2003 and they had a daughter in 2006. This is why he often made jokes on Raw about who the father is.
Well, who'd have thought the winner wouldn't be in your poll. No one saw that coming, they kept it very quiet. I think it'll be a triple threat match at Wrestlemania though, Orton vs Cena vs HHH.

Ditto. Hopefully Orton retains or HHH wins...though the guy always has that damn belt around his waist.

I hate Orten,I think he doesn't deserve his title,Triple H who deserve it then Cena, they are the best in Raw now.
and I don't think Triple H is a douchebag as you think dash, look to his history in WWE and in WWF then put your opinion about him. |

I think there are more stars who should have a title shot and more tv time, the thing is WWE doesn't let them develop their gimmick or character. A damn shame too, excellent performers like the Hardies, London and Kendrick and others are just awesome in ring athletes.
BTW anyone else pissed they got rid of the cruiserweight title? I know if you're like me the moment they put it around Hornswoggle's waist I knew they were going to demolish it's status as a legit title or just get rid of it later. |

lol i always liked masters and the master lock...i havnt watched much wrestling lately but i heard something happened to him? idono...and ezzdx, you should be the one looking at HHH history, he has ALWAYS been a heel and done some shitty stuff, and his character is just plain annoying...he always looks so greasy and old too, wtf...WWE is for young people, we dont want some fucking fossil champ like ric flair or HHH

Masters got fired, think he failed a drug test or something. And yea HHH is a good wrestler but he's ALWAYS in the title picture, I guess being married to the boss's daughter is helpful in that kind of situation.
I'm quite ready for him to be shipped to SmackDown, they could use some star power. And I wouldn't mind seeing him champion over there to help push other names. Of course SD has Taker, Edge, Mysterio and a few others but eh they don't have as many big stars as Raw. |

Eh I'll put it like this, I'm a big wrestling fan. Never even compared them to steroid users until 2002 or so when I...which is quite humilating, found out wrestling wasn't as real as I thought lol.
Anyway yea it's basically backstage politics that got Triple H the title so many times and got him pushed, along with Batista from what I've read up on the interent a while back. I'm ready for some fresh meat and new blood to get a title run or two, if HHH wants the title toss him on the SD roster and let him compete with the UnderTaker(who I hope gets it at wrestlemania), than again I'm hoping for another Taker/Kane fued. |

This is pro wrestling, it's always going to be controlled by politics. The best wrestlers will not necessarily rise to the top, and in fact, they rarely get to the top. We know 3 things for sure.
1. As Dash said, WWE is for young people. This isn't the Attitude era anymore, when I got into it, this is more like the Federation years again, hence why John Cena has dominated the last 2 years. He's this generation's Hulk Hogan, so they target a young fanbase and lots of merchandise money (Eg. Randy Orton kept John Cena's "bling bling" belt) 2. WWE owner Vince McMahon loves the big guys. Cena, Batista and Bobby Lashley have been the most successful in the last few years. Guys like FinalKey mentioned will never be on top, and they are under constant pressure to do steroids because the main stars are always the ones with body builder physiques, and they may need to take things like growth hormones to merely keep up with them and the tough schedule. Every few months a new big monster with no personality or talent arrives (eg. Snitsky), and gets a push. 3. Triple H is Vince's son in law. That circle of HHH, Vince and his daughter Stephanie control WWE. Raw is the live show, the main brand, so he's stayed there for 6 years. He main events Wrestlemania every year. 1+2+3 = John Cena and Triple H in Wrestlemania 24 WWE title match.

lol, i never said masters was THE BEST or MY FAVOURITE, just that i liked him...i knew he was never going to get a decent shot at anything, but unlike many people nowadays in the WWE, he was actually ENTERTAINING. same with kurt angle, kinda...i dont really like his character, but he was entertaining. i still remember when eugene won his gold medals off him in that grapple thing he used to do, that was fucking hilarious. sting was great too, hell always be my fave wrestler(well, my favourite non-bret hart wrestler :P), he was cool, entertaining, good, and had some of the best plots. and the mexicans on lawnmowers are great too..what are they called, phychosis or some shit...theyre pretty entertaining too...its not about "how well they wrestle", fuck it never has been really, its just about how well they entertain, and all the big name wrestlers barely entertain nowadays, and the truely good performers get shoved to the back burners
PS - GO BRET HART!!!!!! XD

Not all big name wrestlers barely entertain nowadays, maybe you only who see this,if you don't like some names this don't mean they aren't entertaining,if you hear the sound of the arena fans when they see an old big superstar like HHH,HBK,Undertaker,Steve Austin,Ric Flair,...... you will know they are still entertaining. |
